I had an S reg blue 106 gti and I loved it - however I had a lot of problems with (electrics) and it always cut out on cold mornings - had it to peugeot garages so many times and they could never find owt wrong with it.
It was a right laugh to drive - not as quick as my valver or my punto go...

When I put full lock on at any speed (turning wheel anticlockwise) I get this really nasty scratching noise VERY LOUD its horrible!!!!!
When I turn the wheel the other way it doesnt make a noise at all. and when Im stopped it doesnt do it either way.
I know that valvers have noisey p/s pumps...
Since my valver has had work done on the head the oil temp is running at over 100 degrees.
Pressure is about 1.5/2 when warm but the oil temp looks way too high
What should it be running?
My valver has had a bang on the near side rear arch and its obviously been filled and sprayed before i got it. I think they bodged it and now its started to bubble and blister.
It needs to be sorted - any ideas on prices? Am i better off getting a new arch and having it welded on? If i get a...
They are actually 137bhp standard, mines got a green air filter and powerflow zorst which takes it up to 150bhp.
0-60 havent really tested it but im guessing it would be around 7.4 (is that the standard 16v time)???
I got done by the SAM launchers on Nuthall Road last year - admittedly i was doing 40 in a thirty, but its a dual carriage way and it was 1AM.
Then a month later i got gatsod doing a red light round the back of the vicky centre cos i was late 4 work!
