Valver Oil Temp

Since my valver has had work done on the head the oil temp is running at over 100 degrees.

Pressure is about 1.5/2 when warm but the oil temp looks way too high

What should it be running?

not sure what its supposed to run at but mine runs about about 85/90 degrees and if i cain it it will get up to about 110 to 115, but never really any more than that.

Mitsi,

Standard running should be 80 degrees but on a run down the motorway or a caining then it will rise to 100 degrees.

std gauges are not vey accurate.

christ, mine is always at 95-105 when warm

ive had it up to 125 ish when i cained it (basically full revs in 5th)
