Mate your car looks alright! Better than my mates RSi! Keep it and mod it some more. You aint gunna get a much faster car that you can afford to insure and run if your planning to move out. Also, for 2.3k your probs gunna buy something faster yes, but youll get more probs!

Just get the clear spray. Its super easy to use! Just clean the areas you gunna put it on as well as you can. Give it a bit of a wire brush then spray it on.
