    Headlight restoration - Duxback

2 minutes every 3 months will do me :) My headlight had been polished previously about 18 months ago and sealed with CarPro Dlux a few times but was beginning to go cloudy again.

Looks good. Better than spending an hour polishing 😉

Take out turn signal on sidepanel

I'm assuming you mean the indicators on the wings? Get a flat bladed screwdriver and pop them out. Put a bit of tape over the paint so you don't damage it.

    Headlight restoration - Duxback

Not even 10 mins work. Less than 2 mins. 10 min wait time between using both products. I'll probably wake up tomorrow and my headlight will be yellow again lol then you'll all be cursing me haha.

    Headlight restoration - Duxback

Trust me mate it really works. How, God only knows? How long it'll last i don't know. But if it only lasts 6 months there's loads left in the bottles to do again and again....... At 13 quid I'd say its a no brainer.

    Headlight restoration - Duxback

Yeah. 2 bottles. Just wipe the product in bottle 1 over your clean headlight and leave to haze over. I left it 10 mins. Then you just put some of the product in bottle 2 on the tissue and wipe that over and Hey Presto, job done. No hard rubbing or polishing. I reckon I only used a couple of ml...

    Headlight restoration - Duxback

I'd seen this kit some time ago and thought I'd leave it until the weather is better. It literally takes a couple of minutes and job done. I was a bit dubious if it would work. The first pic is the before pic, then a pic of what the tissue picks up then the last pic is the result. It's a 2 step...

182 Trophy won't start, any ideas?

As above. Either a rusty or loose earth strap. I had alot of clicking from down in the passenger footwell and it would struggle to start with lights flickering on the dash. It was a loose earth.

    20k miles Clio 172 - £12,995

Possible front end respray? It's missing the black stickers on the front bumper. Least desirable colour. I doubt they'll get full asking price.

What have you guys beat in your clios

Welcome to CS. What are you driving? Clio or BMW? It can be entertaining on here. Especially if your first post is along the lines of " what have you beaten in your 182". Youll also find alot of useful people who can help out if you have any problems.

I'd say your battery is flat/dead.

    Renault Clio 3 2012 model

I think you'll need to be a bit more specific. Extent of accident with some pics might help. No dash display would suggest you don't have any power whatsoever. Old battery maybe? Has it been stood for a while?

28000 172 cup - nearly ready for cam belts

It was down to lack of lubrication. Sometimes the catch didn't hold the bonnet down properly and could potentially fly open. I first got a recall letter in 2008 if I remember correctly, which I ignored. I couldn't be bothered going to some incompetent Renault dealership and sit there for hours...

The only recall I heard about for the mk2 Clio was as you said, the bonnet catch. This is the letter I received.

1 owner clio cup 172 -21k miles - whats it worth

I remember when I bought my first new 172. I was torn between Flame Red and Iceberg silver, leaning more towards red. My mate convinced me to buy silver. As soon as I bought it I realised the world and his dog were all driving silver cars so it never stood out lol. I still think Silver when...
