They don't look like the ones that Martin posted. To me they look like a cheaper speaker. But like I said , I know nothing other than my experience.
Maybe if you can get some from someone who is breaking a full fat 172 or 182 you'll get better quality speakers?
I know f**k all about speakers........ but i remember years ago one of my speakers in my full fat 172 went titsup. I bought one off eBay from a 172 cup and the speaker wasn't as good , it was alot lighter in weight. So there is a difference in whatever model of car you have.
As we all know. The space in the engine bay on is extremely limited . So Renault designed an airbox to fit that space rather than design an airbox for better performance. I'm sure if there was more space it would have been a different shape / design entirely.
There's always been lots of talk...
I've tried so many times today even on wet roads , braking hard. The only time I've had a hint of the abs kicking in is when i brake hard and it's over a manhole cover.
I'll bleed through a litre over the weekend and check all the caliper aren't seized. Fingers crossed it won't be raining.
Bled through about 500ml. It was the old ATE super blue stuff coming out at the beginning so I could tell with the colour change the new fluid was coming through.
It might be worth another good bled with alot more fluid ?
I'm hoping it's not the MC. Can air get into the and system even if I've...
It's mostly new fluid now. It seems strange how it was fine for 2 weeks then suddenly became soft with a long pedal travel then when I bled it again it was fine for 3 weeks then a soft pedal again.
I've been trying to find some gravel to activate the abs like I've seen people suggest in other...
As per title. About 5 weeks ago the brake pedal suddenly became soft/ long travel.
So I bled the brakes , just a bit of air came out and the pedal was solid again for 2 weeks. Then it went soft again and the pedal travel was almost to the floor.
So I bled the brakes again. Again the pedal was...
I've used Rainsport 2's then 3's for a few years. Really rate them especially in the wet. Wear rate was always poor, similar to you, most I would get out of a pair would be less than 6k miles even with rotating them.
I'm now running Avon ZV7's which feel good in the dry and wet. Maybe not...
The advert I saw on eBay does say it's louder with a deeper bass tone . Most after market exhausts are louder than the original exhaust.
Is it just a back box or full exhaust system? Do you have a middle silencer?
Check if you have a Powerflow exhaust place near you if you don't, they should be...
Yeah it's cheap, and there's probably a good reason why it is. I doubt it looks anywhere near as good in real life as it does in the photos.
Personally I'd pay a bit more and get a brand that that is recognised on CS as being good quality and good fitment.
From what I can gather some people have fitted cheapo leds in their interior lights but they never fully turn off, there's always a slight glow.
The leds I mentioned above look very good quality.
I think it's more like internet scaremongering. I've never seen any posts about frying the wiring loom.
The only time I've seen people have problems with led lights are when they use them on the interior of the car but they never fully turn off even when the ignition is off.
Had them in quite a while now. I had some cheaper ones that had been in ages but nowhere near as bright as these. They're a crisp white light same as the 6000k xenons.
I've never had a problem with MOT s and led sidelights. These are bright enough you can see them clearly in daylight.
I changed the Xenon headlight bulbs recently for 6000k bulbs and these led sidelights match perfectly.
They're the best leds I've used and I've used alot over the years.
Ive tried loads of different led sidelights over the years. These are by far the brightest, whitest I've used.
Can't send a direct link from eBay on my phone. Have a look for these.
Usually when you fit a decat and the light comes on it's a constant light not flashing and doesn't affect performance.
Sounds to me like the lights flashing for a different reason.
I've certainly never heard of it putting your car into limp mode.
You must have been doing it wrong if it marred your paintwork 😜 keep it well lubricated and you can't go wrong. So much easier than messing about with a tiny bit of clay that you will inevitably drop on the floor at some stage 😉
