First time I've heard that the wheel base on a 172 and 182 are different. I've never seen it in any information that was put out by Renault.

I've got a brand new caliper here , I've just measured my nipple and its 27.6mm long. I've got stainless nipples in all of my calipers and I'm pretty sure that the threaded part is 1 or 2 mm longer and protrude a tiny bit more out of the caliper, but it doesn't affect them being a little bit longer.

Looks like they don't do 205/45/16's in the RS5's , according to Uniroyals website anyway. It does state " extended tyre life". Anything over 5500 miles is extended to me ;) that's what I was averaging on a set of RS3's.

I've never heard of em, I don't recall seeing any posts about them. The thing is. You're comparing a summer tyre with the Rainsports with a Winter tyre with the Good years.
