I've got a brand new caliper here , I've just measured my nipple and its 27.6mm long.
I've got stainless nipples in all of my calipers and I'm pretty sure that the threaded part is 1 or 2 mm longer and protrude a tiny bit more out of the caliper, but it doesn't affect them being a little bit longer.
I had my front wheel bearings replaced a couple of months ago.
Cheap from here . Apparently SNR make the wheel bearings for Renault.

I wondered what happened to STEVE.M.
Why was he kicked off ? I know he was a bit of an argumentative sod at times but he also had alot of useful knowledge.
I took my 182 off the road last year for 7 months while I was living away. It was sorned and garaged.
I've been with Adrian Flux for 20 years , it cost me £137 to cancel the policy and when I came back my quote over the phone was for £300 more than I used to pay annually. Granted I did want to...
I sorted/ garages my 182 while I was living away. It cost a fortune to cancel my policy with Adrian Flux. When i I came back I needed to insure it pretty much straight away and all the prices were sky high.
I eventually and begrudgingly insured again with flux even though they quoted me over...
There were 2 cup packs :
1 being the front splitter and cup spoiler.
2 being anthracite wheels and slightly lower ( 3mm ) ,stiffer suspension.
Yours looks to have both going by your pics. Of course the wheels could have been changed so measuring the bolt spacing as said above will tell you for...
My 182 pops and bangs alot , has done for years. I've worked out its the join between the olive joint in the Cat and centre pipe leaking slightly. I can see condensation dripping from the join. Once it's warmed up the exhaust must expand and the pops and bangs and dripping exhaust stops.
They...
I sorned and garaged my 182 last year. I phoned Adrian Flux to cancel my insurance , the woman i spoke to said they can insure my sorned car. The car did have an MOT at the time though. I didn't take her up on the offer so I don't know how much it was.
Handbrake light is flickering when you're driving , especially round bends?
If it is ,that's usually low brake fluid level which could also indicate your brake pads are worn down causing the brake fluid level to drop.
There's been lots of discussions on here about the exact size.
Autodoc are good for parts and they're cheap, you just need to find the exact size.

Those indicators on a battery can be a bit misleading.
I'm going back a few years now when my battery died , had to call out the RAC. The indicator was still green. RAC guy said that it only indicates that 1 cell is ok , not all of them. Changed the battery and the old battery was in my garage...
Mines the original wiper arm and mine never clears the rear screen in a full arc.
I've seen other posts over the years with the same problem , if you can call it a problem.
@Feko123 . According to your profile you're only 17 years old , yeah ?
Enjoy your 1.2 for what it is , get some miles and driving experience under your belt. Learn to walk before you can run.
I would imagine you're already paying a small fortune for car insurance? Any mods would have to be...
I did eventually lol . It pisses down alot where I live so that's why I used alot of them. Running the Avon ZV7's after you and Stevem recommended them . ;)
What's the correct PSI ? I always went with the higher load rating when using RS2's and RS3's and always needed to run 34/35 PSI. I've gone through quite a few sets getting anywhere from 5k miles to just under 6k miles.
They're a fantastic tyre in the wet , the only other tyre I thought was as...
You'd think Uniroyals own website would show all the sizes lol. Didn't think off going straight Camskills site.
I'm gonna stick with these Avon ZV7's for now. They feel good enough in the dry and wet and wear rate so far is miles better than the RS3' s. When there have been quite a few positive...
Had a bit of Man flu over the weekend so never managed to have a look at my brakes.
I've found a nice cobbled back street to fire the abs, done it 20 odd times this morning.
I've bled through 1 litre of brake fluid , so that's about 1.5 litres in the past few weeks.
They all ran clear except...
Looks like they don't do 205/45/16's in the RS5's , according to Uniroyals website anyway. It does state " extended tyre life". Anything over 5500 miles is extended to me ;) that's what I was averaging on a set of RS3's.
I've never heard of em, I don't recall seeing any posts about them.
The thing is. You're comparing a summer tyre with the Rainsports with a Winter tyre with the Good years.
