Welcome to CS . As said above the blowing exhaust will be either the oilve joint , where it connects to centre section or the manifold to Cat fitting kit will need replacing, or both . Both are rubbish and are common failures on the exhaust . I wouldn't worry about the different shade on the...
You might see a couple of bhp with it remapped . You'll have more noise for sure . You have 2 options , keep replacing the clamp/ seal it everytime it statrs blowing , or get it sleeved like @Addicted said . If you do a search for sleeved cat you'll find out what it entails .
First of all . The Decat will add Zero difference to performance . Secondly , the Decat will have the same oilve joint as your Cat and will most likely leak again in time , causing it to blow or whistle again . So you'll be back to square one .
Very nice . I love 306's . I wish they still made them , I'd have one in a heartbeat if they did . I used to have an S16 many moons ago and I absolutely loved it . Like bill said . It will surprise a few people I would imagine , It looks so understated .
Or you could just buy some stainless flanged bolts for £3.44 delivered .

I've been running the XL 87 RS3's for a month now . I had the ones with the lesser load rating before 83's . I don't know if it's in my head , but they do feel stiffer . But I do think part of the reason that some people report they feel a bit wobbly is because the deep tread block and soft...
@Leonardo I'm running my 2nd set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's 205 x 45 x 16's . I really rate these tyres , especially in the wet , as the name suggests . Just short of £128 delivered from tyreleader.

Tbh I wouldn't waste my time and effort mate . The decat makes bugger all difference to performance , the only thing it will probably do is make your exhaust slightly louder . Then you'll have to faff about come MOT time to refit your cat . It's more trouble than it's worth.
Nice write up . Love the Acid yellow V6 , but it is a bit in your face . I much prefer the Illiad Blue , much more subtle, if i V6 could ever be subtle lol .
Come on guys . Lets not veer away from the Op's original question . It happens all too often on CS and " can " spoil what is generally a good forum with lots of useful information " and " opinions .
I wasn't having a go at you . Just saying you shouldn't need your foglights to assist you if your bulbs are fine . Have you tried the ones I posted a link to ? I've been running the 5000k ones for almost 2 years now and I actually believe they are better , a much crisper and brighter light than...
@ the OP . You have a full fat 172 not a cup I'm assuming ? So do have factory fitted D2S HID's ? I've never had a problem with how much light comes from my Xenons on my old 172 or my 182 . After a while they can start to go a bit pink and sometimes won't start up the first time you put your...
The only specialist I've used is Mick@diamond motors . It's a bit of a commute for me from the North West , last time was nearly a 6 hour round trip ( due to traffic) . I had both my belts , water pump, dephaser done. He won't BS you and he'll pick up on any faults he comes across and explain in...
Nice write up . Good to see the 182 has outlasted all your other cars . They kinda get under your skin . I'm coming up to 10 years of ownership from new , now with 63k on the clock . I won't part with mine until the day it becomes uneconomical to keep on the road . Other than the cost of...
Like cat171 says , Genuine ones are rubbish , considering what you pay .
These are good quality mats and only £22.46 delivered . You can customise what options you want i.e. colour of edge , thickness etc ........

Does the stuttering go away once the engine is fully warmed ? I've had this twice now in the past couple of days and I've had it before at the back end of last year , always when the weather is very very wet and the cars been stood overnight , but once fully warmed it goes away . I know the...
Check both joints on your cat. I've had my eml come on in the past, and also rattling sound with the exhaust slightly louder and blowing. The clamp between the olive joint and centre section was knackered and leaking. Try with the cheapest fix first and replace the clamp and the fitting kit from...
Personally i think they're a brilliant tyre in the wet and dry . I'm on my 2nd set of RS3's and dry grip has never been an issue for me when pushing on . They are quite a soft tyre and there is a noticeable difference in the feel of them when you first fit them , but you soon get used to them ...
I'm on my 2nd set of RS3s, had them on for 2 weeks now This weather they really do perform well. I can't honestly say they're massively better than the RS2s though. I got mine from tyre leader, £122 delivered.
182's came with 205 45 16's as standard . 60mm hole spacing is for the cup suspension 182 , like yours . The paint code is ixell 205-110 , alot of people seem to buy their touch up paint from http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/
This is how I did mine and they're still going strong after 18 months or so .First of all I cable tied the rubber to the metal exhaust bracket , as they can come away after time . Then I filled it with this Everbuild silicone sealant ...
If you're only topping up , 1 litre should be sufficient . That seller on ebay is Renault Wolverhampton , lots of people on here use them . But it might work out cheaper nipping to your local Renault dealership as you obviously have to pay postage on that bottle .
