You might see a couple of bhp with it remapped . You'll have more noise for sure . You have 2 options , keep replacing the clamp/ seal it everytime it statrs blowing , or get it sleeved like @Addicted said . If you do a search for sleeved cat you'll find out what it entails .

First of all . The Decat will add Zero difference to performance . Secondly , the Decat will have the same oilve joint as your Cat and will most likely leak again in time , causing it to blow or whistle again . So you'll be back to square one .

Yeah , but sound only . Imo , It's not worth all the hassle of decatting and refitting the cat come MOT , just for a little extra noise.

Tbh I wouldn't waste my time and effort mate . The decat makes bugger all difference to performance , the only thing it will probably do is make your exhaust slightly louder . Then you'll have to faff about come MOT time to refit your cat . It's more trouble than it's worth.

Nice write up . Love the Acid yellow V6 , but it is a bit in your face . I much prefer the Illiad Blue , much more subtle, if i V6 could ever be subtle lol .

Check both joints on your cat. I've had my eml come on in the past, and also rattling sound with the exhaust slightly louder and blowing. Personally i think they're a brilliant tyre in the wet and dry . I'm on my 2nd set of RS3's and dry grip has never been an issue for me when pushing on . They are quite a soft tyre and there is a noticeable difference in the feel of them when you first fit them , but you soon get used to them ...
