I had a new OS track rod end fitted the other day at a local garage . Today I noticed the top nut and suspension top mount were loose . I tightened it up quickly with a 21mm socket but it wanted to spin a bit , so I'm not convinced it's gonna be tight enough . Do I need to use an Allen key and a...
I've been running these for about 18 months now and they've been spot on . 5000k are better , whiter than the 4300k oem.

If you go to a reputable garage , like one of the specialists on here who use genuine parts , you'll get a 1 year guarantee on the parts anyway . Just the same as you would if you take it to a Renault garage . The only advantage of taking it to a specialist is they will have done lots of these...
I wouldn't trust a Renault dealership ever again . I've just had both my belts , dephaser , water pump etc ..... done at Diamond Motors on Wednesday , bit of a trek , 5 and half hours round trip but well worth it because of Micks knowledge of these cars and no Bullsh1t . The last time Renault...
If the car is nice, like you said in every other aspect except the belts, get the belts and dephaser done and you'll have a nice car at the end of the day for not much money
Swapping the old bleed nipples for stainless ones is well worth doing imo . Also bleed your brakes , new fluid would be a good idea whilst your at it .

I wouldn't bother mate . I had a proper Yozza decat on my Yozza exhaust . I sold it last year for about £60 after I swapped it back to the Cat for the MOT . The only difference you'll notice is sound , its pretty loud . You won't notice any difference in performance . But if you do insist on...
I don't see any harm in trying a hair dryer for a few seconds on a warm setting , just to evaporate any surface moisture that might be there . It can't really turn out any worse than your first attempt . It's worth a try imo .
You'll mostly likely struggle getting them out . Try some screw extractors like these .

Failing that . You'll have to drill them out and retap the thread .

Rear brake discs last for a very long time , so do the pads .I've had my 182 for 9 and half years and only changed my original rear discs last September . It's had 3 lots of new discs and pads on the front in all that time , that's covering 58K miles. Rear pads don't have alot of friction...
Shame about the dent . Google PDR or paintless dent removal in your area . Typically a PDR guy would charge about £40 a dent , might be a little more for that . You'll only know if you ring one and ask .
