    Bird poo

Like Rich says . Get if off asap as it will etch into the paint . If the birds have been eating berries it seems to be worse and can be very acidic . Always have a bottle off quick detailer and a couple of microfibres in the car in case of emergencies ;)

    Dried superglue in Ariel hole..

    Tyre choice

Ask yourself why ?? You get what you pay for . I've said it before and i'll say it again . I had both the Toyo T1R's and T1S's on my 172 and it was absolute sh!te in the wet . If you gave me a set i wouldn't put them on my car . The Toyos give good grip in the dry , granted , so will most...

    INSURANCE QUOTE HELP

Your 18 years old and you don't even have 1 years NCB under your belt . I don't really see what the problem is tbh . You've very little experience driving a car , of course your insurance rate will be high . Your seen as a very high risk . It stands to reason imo .

    auto locking doors

Thats not what i experienced when i stuck my 172 into a motorway barrier and span it 180 degrees . The airbags never went off and the doors remained locked . According to the manual they will remained locked in the event of an accident .

    Wash Mitts

I prefer the Meguiars wash mitts with the mesh on the back , Halfords sell them and it's last me almost 3 years with lots of use . The ones from serious performance are too thin when loaded with water , i use this one on my wheels ;)

FAO: Anyone wanting cheaper car insurance...

Personally , i always phone insurance companys if i can rather than get an on online quote . Actually talking to somebody , especially somebody who knows a little bit about cars always seems bring better results .

    TOAD AI606

^^^From what i understand , the Toad AI606 uses a separate remote rather than integrating with the Renault keyfob . Plus if you do buy one from ebay , make sure you get it installed by a Toad approved installer . That way you'll have the Thatcham certificate if you don't, insurance companys...

haynes manual!! does not show RS

There isn't a Haynes manual for the 1*2's or V6 and there won't be one . It wouldn't be worth their while to produce as one the sales of these cars is only small compared to the normal Clios .
  24. MRBILLYUK

    is it true....

Not really . Like i said before . You " have " to set it up in expert mode . Personally i just use my middle finger as my volume control ;)
  25. MRBILLYUK

    is it true....

According to the manual the volume increases / decreases with the vehicles speed , not the engine noise .
  26. MRBILLYUK

    is it true....

It does increase with speed , but you have to set it up in the " expert mode " .

    Gritter's!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought i did ;) No you won't have to rewax it . Even with the less durable waxes it should be ok as you say it is freshly waxed . At this time of year alot of people like to have already built up a few layers prior to the bad weather setting in .
