As said new battery , batteries suffer alot in the cold weather especially if its a couple of years old . Mine resets itself , but only when the weather outside is around freezing point . Go to a local motor factors . £70 for a new battery ?? I don't think so , you can get them for alot...
My insurance isn't due until July , but i'll definitely give em a bell . It'll be interesting to see how close they come compared to my renewal quote .
Like Rich says . Get if off asap as it will etch into the paint . If the birds have been eating berries it seems to be worse and can be very acidic .
Always have a bottle off quick detailer and a couple of microfibres in the car in case of emergencies ;)
In the garage round the back when i'm not using it ?
Do you live on Greenway Street ? I come along there quite a bit and i've seen a Nimbus R27 on there a few times recently .
Audacity will do it Mark , but it's not the easiest program to use , not if your after splitting the file 21 times anyway . You'll be at it literally all day .
What about this one ...
There was an article about it the other week in Auto express .
The pics are a bit p!ss poor , but it looks fcukin ugly from what i can see :dead:

Ask yourself why ?? You get what you pay for .
I've said it before and i'll say it again . I had both the Toyo T1R's and T1S's on my 172 and it was absolute sh!te in the wet . If you gave me a set i wouldn't put them on my car . The Toyos give good grip in the dry , granted , so will most...
You say you live in a " nice area " . Have you checked out your postcode rating ? I've seen people who pay alot less than me , alot younger with less experience  My postcodes a killer
Your 18 years old and you don't even have 1 years NCB under your belt . I don't really see what the problem is tbh . You've very little experience driving a car , of course your insurance rate will be high . Your seen as a very high risk . It stands to reason imo .
Thats not what i experienced when i stuck my 172 into a motorway barrier and span it 180 degrees . The airbags never went off and the doors remained locked .
According to the manual they will remained locked in the event of an accident .
I prefer the Meguiars wash mitts with the mesh on the back , Halfords sell them and it's last me almost 3 years with lots of use . The ones from serious performance are too thin when loaded with water , i use this one on my wheels ;)
Personally , i always phone insurance companys if i can rather than get an on online quote . Actually talking to somebody , especially somebody who knows a little bit about cars always seems bring better results .
I'm with Adiran Flux , have been for years . They guarantee to beat any quote i get when it comes to renewal time , so thats always gonna be the cheapest for me lol ;)
As said above , going direct will 99% of the time be cheaper than any comparison websites .
^^^From what i understand , the Toad AI606 uses a separate remote rather than integrating with the Renault keyfob . Plus if you do buy one from ebay , make sure you get it installed by a Toad approved installer . That way you'll have the Thatcham certificate if you don't, insurance companys...
There isn't a Haynes manual for the 1*2's or V6 and there won't be one . It wouldn't be worth their while to produce as one the sales of these cars is only small compared to the normal Clios .
I thought i did ;)
No you won't have to rewax it . Even with the less durable waxes it should be ok as you say it is freshly waxed . At this time of year alot of people like to have already built up a few layers prior to the bad weather setting in .
The last one i had fitted was about £300 3 years ago . He lives in Newport Pagnell but seems to travel about the country fitting alarms so distance is no object . He won't bullshit ya telling you need this , that and the other .
Worth ringing him at least just to see what he says . Mine also...
