Sorry mate , but i had to laugh when i read your post . Why oh why did you feel the need to ring your insurance company when it was only the element you replaced ?
Like Peperami said . The person you spoke to probably didn't realise what you had actually done . As soon as you mentioned K+N...
Limewire throws up alot more than 5 Frankie Goes To Hollywood for me . I'd check your settings , go into options and check your allowing certain files .
Not that i'd use Limewire or the likes for music . Lots of other better options out there ;)
It came with a factory fitted immobiliser . As you say the alarm was fitted at the import centre at the docks . It has one immobiliser , the alarm fitted is exactly what it says it is an " alarm " .
Wrong . The immobiliser and alarm are separate on the Clio . It very much doubtful the immobiliser will have been removed .
If it's anything like my Toad alarm it will have been intergrated with the immobiliser and use the original Renault keyfob for both .
2 immobilisers ??? The...
High mileage ? So what ?? Is it actually costing you alot to run , expensive repair bills etc .... ? If not i'd keep it if your happy with it .
Sounds to me like you've go so used to it your itching for a change . Maybe look at different marque altogether .
A fully loaded 172 as you like to call it is the same as the full fat 182 ( waits for the full fat police , lol ) .
They have the leather interior , aircon , climate control , xenons , upgraded speakers , in the 182 it's a newer update list cd player in the dash rather than the tuner list in...
Yeah , 182 with cup packs . Speedwise there was no difference in my 182 with cup packs compared to my (full fat ;) )172 , but handling wise there was definitely a difference with the 182 over the 172 , some of that could be partly down to the exaltos , the slightly lower stiffer suspension and...
I've owned both also and couldn't agree more :)
The 172 cup interior looks cheap imo plus i couldn't do without the creature comforts and xenons of my 182 .
I'd get back in touch with the dealership that did the work . The engine shouldn't have packed up , sounds like bad workmanship , they should replace it . Try ringing the insurance company also and explain the situation as they are the ones who had to foot the bill in the first place .
They dent very easily , they are made out of tin foil ;) Keep searching , your bound to come across a good one eventually .
The guy i sold my 172 to said the same as you . He'd viewed 6 172's before mine and all had been abused apparently .

Or ebay as said , maybe the for sale section on CS as...
No , you don't need to tell them . Your confusing parallel imports with grey imports , grey imports usually being from countries like Japan where they have different specs , like no rear fog light , underseal ......
They are only aluminium covers riveted onto the actual pedals . I think the only issue is your accelerator pedal is plastic from what i can gather but people have overcome this problem .
Any scratch in glass can be polished out using jewellers rouge , the only downside is if the scratch is really deep it will deform the glass .
Check out ebay for jewellers rouge .

I really don't see what Virgin are up to tbh . Why 50 meg ? Unless it's just some marketing ploy that they have the fastest speeds . It will only mean people will hit their download limits even faster so increasing how many people are affected by the traffic management i.e. dropping their speed...
It amazes me how the general concensus is that Toyos are crap in the wet , yet people still say they would buy them  I'm sorry , but when i buy a tyre i want it to perform well in both the wet and dry . And that doesn't mean driving like a complete t**t in the wet , just a tyre that won't...
Body Shield Blitz Spray Sealant , dead easy to use . A few layers can be added in next to no time . Or maybe Extreme Gloss M Seal , never tried this one but it sounds like it could be good for your RB .

Lmfao . How do you know exactly when they are tight enough to the extent they aren't going to snap ?? :quiet: There's nothing like a bit of crap advise is there .
Your wheels should be torqued up to 90Nm .
Why isn't it very good ?? You set it , the temp remains constant , that's what CC was designed to do . So whats the problem ? Mines always worked perfectly fine .
The foam lances are ok if you just want foam . With my method you can foam the car at low pressure then rinse the car down with high pressure foam unlike the expensive foam lances . I just couldn't justify spending £50 on a lance for low pressure foam .
