Don't blame me if they go titsup after a few weeks . You can get good quality LEDS that will last and poor quality ones . But for the price it's worth risking it i suppose .
A bit of a tip . It's hard to change the drivers side LED due to the aircon . I used a bit of 10mm tubing with a split...
The washing up is to clean the sh!te off the steering wheel dear chap . There was no mention of washing the paintwork with washing up liquid .
Read the OP's problem ;)
^^^ I hope your taking the p!ss with the wax comment ?
Like 182-racing-blue said , washing up liquid " should " shift it or the majority of it anyway .
Collinite 885 or 925 owns 476 btw ;)
Are you sure they fit through the hole ? They are 11mm , the holes only about 10mm .
I have something similar to these . I bought mine from ultraleds but they don't sell them anymore for some reason . Been running mine for over 2 years now with no problems ...
Heat resistant paint isn't needed to paint your engine cover . Just treat it as you would any other plastic bits i.e. plastic primer , colour coat and lacquer .
D2S 4300K is the standard bulb . The higher the number the more blue in colour and less light is given off .

^^^ Could be cos some of the dealership's don't know the service intervals themselves . I had this when i went to book in my 172 for it's first service . They told me it wasn't due until 18k , i told them to check again as it was due at 12k , they appoligised and agreed it was 12k .
My service book for my 182 says the same 5 years or 36k . I'd like to see proof also if the schedule has changed . Unless it's just a case of chinese whispers and people assuming that 36k equates to 3 years with an average of 12k a year .
You can't have it set on the windscreen demister and your feet at the same time . Also having it set on the windscreen demister it automatically puts on the AC as well .
I reckon your fcuked mate . Alcantara isn't a natural material like suede , it's polyester so any solvent type product will most likely dissolve it . It'll be bonded well and good so even picking at it will probably leave a hole .
Warm water if it's not too dirty . I've used a weak solution of Meguiars all purpose cleaner or you could try a dilute mix of Auto Glym interior shampoo .
Nothing wrong with Pixmania imo . As stated they are non UK products so my camcorder actually came with a 2 year warranty as standard instead of a 1 year warranty which UK products come with as standard . Plus it arrived within 48 hours :)
Mines been playing up as well , same as it did last year in the cold weather . It was down to 3*C a couple of days ago . When i jump in the car and drive off all the dash lights come on for a split second then go off again , but all the trip comp readings reset . It only ever happens in the cold...
I quite like it , keeping it the same colour as the car . It's definitely different from other diamonds that have been sprayed up in various colours .
It's always good to see somebody trying something original :)
You won't get a good deal if you part ex yours . Dealers never offer good money for second hand cars . It's just not worth their while making a couple of hundred quid selling it on , they need to make alot bigger profit . Plus at the moment car sales have really slumped so they'll probably offer...
Mine did this a couple of times just after i bought it . Just wiggle the wire for the temp sensor it might just be a loose connection . Mines been alright ever since ( touch wood ) for the past cpuple of years :)
So you where charged £500 for the 36k service that didn't include the aux belt , now they say they do it at a reduced rate ? :S
The price of £500 should have " included " the aux belt being changed . You need to get back onto the dealer and tell them you've already paid the amount to include...
Agreed . All this waffle about being for losers and not needing it . I never had it on my 172 , have it on my 182 and it makes sod all difference to my driving experience .
I'm sure some people on here haven't got a clue what they're on about sometimes :quiet:
My CC works fine . Keeps the cabin at a constant temp as it's suppose to do . Auto wipers are a good thing imo and work fine in my 182 as they did in my 172 , it rains , they come on , it rains harder , they wipe faster . :)
I'd rather have the toys than not have them ;)
It might be . But the guy who got the badges dipped was called FusionRS . Looks like he never ventures onto CS anymore so we'll probably never get to the bottom of how the badges are done and cost .
Only places i've seen on google are all in the USA ...
