The guy i've used a few times is a Bosch trained and can run a diagnostic check on any car , even though its a siemens system . Charges £50 . I always thought Renault charged £50 also from what i've read , but i might be wrong . You could try a different Renault garage .

Let me know how you get on . It took him around 30 mins for all 4 dents , the one on the door was in a really bad place . He does seem a bit of a prefectionist . I thought the dent had gone but he could still a little bit . He's got better eyes than me , lol .

I think you'll find the beeswax and oils have alot to do with how long it lasts and the finish as well ;)

Halfords are basically shite unless you want bog standard paint . Your better off talking to a local paint / body part supplier, plus they are usually cheaper .

Well from my point of view . I had a mk 2 172 which i loved . I waited until the mk3 clio came out and didn't like the look of it so i bought a new 182 . Its more or less the same car tbh . Slightly different alcantara finish on the seats than the 172 , no big deal , the obvious differences are...

I wouldn't do it tbh . When you come to sell it might put off some potential buyers . I'd either leave it or polish it .

I've got 4 now :( 2 tiny ones on the roof happened the other day , neighbours little b4stard tearaway kids threw a piece of metal over the garden fence . Gettin it sorted tomorrow ( hopefully ) at least the neighbour's paying , gonna get the door and quarter panel dents sorted as well .

It might soften the layer your struggling to buff off . Try it on one panel and see how ya go .

Try putting somemore EGP on a panel at a time and buffing off immediately .

The service light doesn't mean its due for its service . It means there is a problem with the car and as you say the airbag light is on as well so there's your problem . 2OO miles and the tyres are 5 years old ? How long ago did you buy tyres ? If you bought them recently i'd be having a word with the tyre supplier .

Make sure your engine covers off for a start ;) Just top it up until you can see the fluid in the res and it will be fine .

How come you never seem to get punctures in a tyre thats due for renewal , it always seems to happen in a good or nearly new tyre ? Bloody Murphys law :(

I don't think 7.5k is an unrealistic price for a good 182 . Maybe alot of people over value theirs when they try to sell them on autotrader , not realising just how much the depreciate in such a short space of time . Keep on searching Dean . I'm sure you'll come up trumps soon .
