I just used aerosols knocked up by my local bodyshop suppliers . They seem to have a better nozzle on them than the ones you get at Halfords etc... , it had a slightly wider spray pattern rather concentrated in one spot like your bog standard aerosols which i think helped to get a more even...

Its the same engine in the 172 and 182 . If you phone Renault UK they will give you exact details of where the car was from and what the warranty will cover . Never trust what a dealer tells you as some are tossers and very unhelpful .

Phone Renault UK with your vin number . They will tell you where the car originated from and what warranty you have also what AA assistance you have . Imports from Cyrpus or Holland only have a 1 year warranty on them .Everywhere else " should " have a 3 year warranty and AA assistance ...

What about the Uniroyal rainsport 1's on mytyres ? They get a good score in the tyre test , good in the wet and dry £49.30 each

Local motor accessories will be able to mix some for you in aerosols , cheaper than the Renault touch up paint .Thats what i use .

Its a full fat , with cup packs and the recaro seat option , thats why the rear seats are cloth not leather / alcantara . The persons added the stripes themselves . Tbh i'd loose the stripes , they only really look good on racing blues imo .

If they are old and useless take em to your local tip . Just make sure you either remove the old hard drives or smash them up .

I wouldn't strip the paint of the badges in the first place . Just clean them , degrease if necessary and spray over the existing colour , job done :)

Tbh mate the discs should be good for about 30k , so without seeing how bad they are its hard to say if the discs are still ok . Sounds like the pads have worn down to the metal and put grooves in them . All discs get a slight lip on them , its nothing to worry about , its just where the pad...

^^^ Have you used any lacquer over the plastikote chrome ? It usually goes darker when you lacquer it or use plastikote sealer . The lid is a bit misleading imo , it looks like the finish will be a high chrome finish .

Did they give you a rough idea of the price ?

All imports sourced from within Europe are undersealed . I think your confusing imported cars from countries such as Japan which tend not to be undersealed from the factory due to their climate being less wet than Europe . Only differences with imported 172's are no factory fitted alarm which...

Whats wrong with the toad alarm you have fitted ,does it work ok , if so why change it ? It seems alot of money just for an alarm if you have a perfectly good alarm already installed . Keep your car doors locked when your driving and keep your keys in a secure place out of sight at home . ;)
