It's not hard to take the top inlet off yourself and have a look at the ports and once you've done it once, it seems like a piece of piss the next time.

I honestly can't tell you if it's worth doing as I don't know how good the casting is and the dirt test is how you find out, but generally the RS inlets were a better casting so the gains from matching are minimal if any, so on the whole i'd say your non RS inlets would benefit from matching...

Did you notice if the inlet ports were narrower then the gasket holes? You can usually tell by the dirty ring around the ports, the bigger the dirt ring the smaller the ports in relation to the gasket holes, which means you'll see an improvement from matching.

17's would be too big imo, your tyres would look like rubber bands, these are 16's in gold.
