I think these need to be low running some good camber with wide, low offset wheels to pull them off, Just looks a bit odd otherwise.
Still like it though LOL
Try some Endless RF, I swear by it now after trying pretty much every other fluid out there. The Endless is the only stuff that gives me a firm, consistent pedal regardless of how long im out or how how the brakes get
I think the main reason i like it is the compressibility of the Endless stuff, If thats even a word LOL. Pedal is firmer with it in and remains that way all the time. The Meganes seem to do a funny thing in that the pedal gets soft with some heat in the system but it isn't boiled fluid or pads...
Depends how much you want to spend, Having tried several over the years including RBF,ATE,SRF im currently on Endless RF and its definitely the best fluid i've ran. Super stable, handles the heats, Pedal remains firm consistantly even with aggressive pads generating a lot of heat. Porsche fill...
Ive kinda lost faith in TX, they seem to be pretty useless and not even having a rough idea on repair costs, When i have to cover postage as well, is keeping me from sending it off. Ill maybe upgrade to one of the new Thrustamster wheels or just hang on for a cheap base to come up
Ive not been on this in ages now, My TX wheel base has given up and its out of warranty, Can pay to get it fixed by Thrustmaster cant tell me even a rough cost to have it done so ill just have to keep an eye out for a "cheap" base. Pretty annoying as its a fair chunk of money with all the extras...
Quite a few Megane guys run V70 rears and a Slick up front. V70's are Mega but just dont last on the front axle of the Megane, Can easily do a pair of new ones in a day.
I was a bit sceptical at first, Just on a release One still as I'm too tight to upgrade to an X, for now.
Few glitches and can be a bit laggy but overall for a "prerelease" its pretty damn good, First squad game i managed to get a chance to play with my mates we ended up first, helps having a...
Fair enough, I still think the Mk3 lump is the better option though. Id rather have a stock lump running the power i plan to than a forged one, People forget that a forged engine is not just fit and forget.
Is this still worth investing in now?
I wanted to months ago afyer coming across this thread but never bothered, kicking myself now looking at the values
Ouch, Thats unfortunate!
I'd do MK3 engine into it, Good for upto 400bhp and will run happily at 360ish on a 20t, Think you have to sort the Feeling out on the MK2 though as the stock system can't cope with that power. A couple of my mates have the MK2 engine in their track spec ones with a...
Why so?
IME id rather the BC's over the Bilsteins. The B14s i ran for a bit on mine really weren't that impressive. If anything the stock setup was better damped.
Im enjoying this a bit more, Its just more polished than the previous game. FFB is kinda ok on a wheel now as well, Certainly better than previous attempts.
Still don't get the dry/wet grip thing though. Genuinely other than slow speed understeer and it being easier to lock up theres no...
That's still not the sort of budget I was hoping for haha.
My current t TV is a 8 or 9 year old Samsung unit so anything will be an upgrade on that haha.
Nothing at the lower end worth a look
Is there such a thing as a decent "budget" 4k TV?
Only really used for gaming and the odd TV show/movie so doesn't have to cost thousands nor does it have to be massive.
I caved in and got it last week as well. Still not sure whats so great about it over the previous games.
Most annoying feature is not being able to jump straight into a test drive from the tuning/upgrade menu, Not to mention the ridiculous loading times.
Don't get the car tier thing either...
Suction mount on the PAX window gives a great view imo, Gonna look into a more permanent solution once i get the cage in though but would still like a similar view
Update time I guess.
Had a few bits needing doing before Spa a couple weeks back, mainly maintenence stuff really.
Had new front calipers fitted along with some plain Brembo discs and some RST3 up front with some RS44s on the back, couple with Ti shims and Endless fluid im properly chuffed...
