Cars are designed to absorb energy so the squidgy thing inside who has just ran out of talent or had a brain-fart doesn't absorb the brunt of the impact.
Depends what one it is ? If it's 5+ years old, I'd guess you'd get £50 for it tops, in full working condition.
If you've nothing to lose - give it a gentle tap perhaps incase any of the blade are stuck ?
NCAP test for frontal impact are done at 40mph..

I have used the RS3 on 2 trackdays.
Very soft sidewalls but not a bad thing really.. Not exactly going to be setting world record lap times in the wet.
In the wet (I mean wet wet..) .. they're more than confidence inspiring. Cadwell was fine for me...

OP - I have them on both my cars .. everyone who gets in either is surprised it's on coilovers as they're so damn comfy.
