Hmm.. Looks like more google busy bodying. I turned all those stupid flags off in mine. I don't want to go hunting for emails google thinks I don't want to see.
I seriously hope this doesn't become Gmail default setting any time soon.
Why are you AK in a wig ?
Couple from a trip along the Thames the other weekend..
I'm quite happy how this one turned out..:
And this, as we're doing ~20mph .. the other boat was doing 35+ and I was using my 10-20
Have you done your measurements properly ..
The powder coated bit goes in between the window and the roof.. All tightens up from there. When you get the measurements right it all just works.
If thanks to the s**t build tolerences of Le Frenchies your window is too high like one of mine, its...
I'll save you the bother......
Imagine a Clio .. any one will do .. now imagine it's pink.
OK ?
Now, if you will... imagine there's a bear driving it looking for someone's picnic to steal.
Job jobbed.
You're welcome !
So put a small sub in the boot ? :S
If you upgrade the speakers, you're going to want to amp them too as most HUs are generally waff.
You'll need to do component speakers as co-ax ones will have the treble at your knees, but finding something decent which matches the size of the 13cm ones...
I'd just leave it be.
Make sure your key unlocks the doors and then take the battery out. Lock it with the keyfob/blipper and the bonnet open (finger on the alarm sensor) so the car is secure then d/c the battery.
Pump tyres up or put it on stands.
Getting the engine up to temp is...
No it does not. 1200kg car + 4x 100kg adults = 1600kg.. 400kg a corner. Now add shock loading and such into the mix. 5-6-700kg+ at each wheel. Through a 10 gram plastic part....
PS: Wheels aren't square, usually. If they are, that might explain the bumpy sensation OP.. :rasp:
Then how would the bolts go in at all, Padawan ;)
There's no loading going through a 10 gram plastic washer. It's just to help centralise the wheel before doing the bolts up.
Those ones you've linked aren't made by OZ. Don't waste your money.
Spigot rings only help line the wheels up .. they don't have any loading going through them.
Do the wheels up properly with a torque wrench. IIRC it's about 110Nm for a Clio ? Google it to confirm.. but that's plenty...
Re: dmallett's indecisive clio thread! Monaco ph2 pg1+, Titanium ph1 pg31+, PB ph1 pg
Yup there's still only 22 pages.
Why does anyone have it on any smaller than max posts per page :S
Why is that even an option...
Does it corner the same, left and right ? Does it wander or feel skittish at all ?
Stick your head under the car (jack the rear up if necessary (FTLOG don't use the Renault 'widowmaker' jack !!!! ) ) and look at the shocks. If there's any residue on there, they might well be leaking...
100% on the flat ? Tyres the same size ? Tyre got air in it ?
Shocks standard parts....? They have a tendancy to leak/blow... Does it feel OK to drive ?
