Have you checked the pressures in the Hankooks, Tim ? It might be 10-15C colder than when you last ran them... Also, if these are going to be winter only tyres, get some M&S tyres .. (mud and snow, not bloody marks+sparks..) My Nokian WR A3's are amazing in the cold/wet, and you wouldn't know...

Don't apologise ! Took me years to get to grips with DSLRs .. I still haven't got a clue now haha !! Do what I said and see if you get a 'normal' photo.. then go from there. Also, make sure the camera is on auto focus as all three of your shots are pretty fuzzy ;)

White balance is on manual.... change that to auto for a start. Looking at your other two photos, it's on 5200 which is why it's all red ! Also, not sure quite what mode you're shooting in (Av, Tv or M) . I think Av (?) but, whatever it is .. put it in Av, put the ISO to Auto and put the...

White balance I'd bet - but put an example up on flickr or whatever you use to host photos, and I'll tell you..

30x optical zoom ? Is she going plane or even planet spotting ? Why would she need that and what's it relative to..? My SLR + 200mm lens is equivilent to ~11x apparently... I don't know what I'd ever shoot needing 3x that. It's a little like the sales spaff called 'Mega Pixels' .. utterly...
