Yes. But take it off for night shots. TBH I'd bin it all together - a well known military 'tog who used to be on here didn't even use filters for "protection" when he was living in the desert.

Cut everything ~200Hz and below to the door speakers and you (should) notice a world of difference !!!
Literally zero point changing them especially as you have a sub already.
That's all I ever did in my old Clio and it sounded more than acceptable.
