Only thing I don't like is the small image size. Even on my Dell screened work PC (1600x1200px), it looks a tad naff at half screen size TBH.
Something like that screams out for full res. I didn't realise that the pic gets enlarged/zoomed but did notice the lack of quality as it was heading...
I was going to come in to congratulate you on buying some kind of Hero Wagon.
Shame really.
Enjoy your golden years anyway. Much love to the Grandkids !

But what if the bodyshop quote £1000, he gives you £1000, then they find the rear shell is crooked, and the suspension needs replacing. then the exhaust has punted the engine a bit and that needs replacing.. etc etc etc. and you end up with a bill for £2k ?
Get it done properly. You're not...
If the floor is bent, it's not going to be a cheap repair. It'll probably be a total loss. If it was a scuffed bumper, then £250 would sort it out. I imagine the front of his car is a mess too ? If you've got neck issues, I think this is a bigger crash than you think it was. GF had someone...
Read the stickies in this section (now it's been moved!).
Go from there.
A DA is about £100 alone. Few pads and polishes will be at least £50. Other bits you'll need will eat the last £50 up .. then you'll want some more stuff.
Find someone local to borrow for a day and give them £100...
You'll need a DA, pads, polish then really you're going to want to protect or it'll all have been worthless by the next weekend.
I priced a sensible box of bits up for a colleague a couple of weeks ago.
Managed £350 without being silly.
Are you looking within a 3 mile radius !?
Autotrader .. searched Renault > Clio > 'keyword: 197' and there's 4 on the first page all cheap as chips :S
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201244490985448/ for example.
Think I posted something similar a while back .. got told it was to 'save power' it drops the WiFi when screen goes off or something like that.
VEEEEEEEEERY annoying. No option to turn that feature off either !?
What about Vouchers ?
You know, the ones from the Bank of England.
Available to be spent anywhere in exchange for products and services ;)
/bah humbug.
Riiiiight.
So buy something suitable. Maybe that's a finishing pad and has as much cutting power as a wet tissue.
Buy some clay, lube, IPA and decent MF cloths while you're there too...
Sounds like you don't really know what you're doing at all.
Anyone got an idea what size the bearings are ?
Colleague is looking to replace the noisy bearings... alternator works fine but is just noisy.
Failing that, has anyone got a spare but perfectly working quiet 1.2 alternator kicking about ?!
Thanks
