Most bodies are pretty water-resistant I think ?
I've never been worried about shooting in the rain really .. it's only a 7D lol. If it borks, I'll upgrade :o
I wouldn't however stand out in a monsoon I don't think .. but again, an umbrella might hold off the worst of it !
I'd not put that in there either way .. they need room to breathe - amplifiers get WARM !! Mine's only got about an inch at the top, but open to the back and a few inches either side.
My iMac keeps crashing and restarting in the night - normally when in sleep mode .. it's not the end of the world as it's always over night, but it's just annoying. I keep sending the fault reports to Apple but it doesn't tell me anything useful.
Can anyone with an ounce of computer...
Have you been in a Clio with the setup as described ?!
Once you take anything <200Hz away from them, they're spot on and do not distort until they're waaaay past safe volume levels.
6x9's ?
1) Treble should be in front of you .. not behind your ears.
2) It's not 1998 any more.
3) They scream 'break in and steal me' unless you hide them, then you can't use your boot without a fcukload of hassle.
4) How are you going to get sound to the speakers without any wires ...
If you haven't changed your HU, there's barely any point. The amp in the HU is what drives the speaker - changing the speaker isn't going to achieve much.
Change the HU (decent enough alpine/pioneer etc), stick a sub in the boot, cut the low freq's to the door speakers and you're done...
Are you looking to save cash or get a new car ?
Spending a few grand on a newer car to save £100 on insurance isn't going to make you richer ;) I'd have thought you get 40-45mpg all day long in your 1.2, especially in a long commute (assuming you're not sat at 110 all the way there !) -...
Ahh my bad .. read the first paragraph about 14 times and I think you're right.
Well, I guess it depends how much you want/need for it, and how much time/effort/ballache you can be bothered to put in ?
You might be able to make £2k or more if you break it and are lucky that people want...
What tyres are on there ? What condition are they in ? Checked pressures ?
What size wheels have you got on there ? Tramlining generally comes from over-size wheels, i.e.: 17's on a clio, 19+ on a BMW etc..
Check shocks as suggested.
Have you had the geometry checked ? Have you...
As it's a work computer you probably shouldn't be installing anything anyway ;)
If you can, uninstall Chrome and then get Portable Chrome !! It doesn't install so you can just delete the folder and 'boom' you're clear...
The feeling of half the useable power falling out the back of the exhaust as noise pollution ? Brilliant.
Key to having a car which barely produces 60hp at max revs is not to let the world you've only got 60hp...
Nothing amuses me more than cars like this making all the noise in the world...
