I don't understand why anyone with a surround system would ever turn it down and use the built in TV speakers.
It will always be miles better than the TV so there really is no point...
Re: Acessing home internet from any internet connection or setting up a home server ?
Which ever way you do it the upload speed will still need to be decent for it to stand a chance of it working. That's why I put etc;).
Re: Acessing home internet from any internet connection or setting up a home server ?
I'd have thought you'll need a decent upload speed for iplayer to work properly via remote desktop etc. Never tried though...
Right so you've set the volume of the sub to match a certain volume on the speakers. if you turn the speakers down the sub will be too loud and if you turn them up not loud enough so not matching. You might not think it's a problem after only a few days but in time to come it probably will be...
The problem you will have with that is that you will always have to get up to adjust it whenever you alter the volume (say if you need to turn it down during an action scene or up in a quiet scene in a film). It will also always be guess work trying to match the volumes. In time to come I...
Not a bad system but an odd choice with the amp. As Fatty has pointed out it's not really designed to be used with a sub.
I'd also say the sales man was wrong to describe an AV amp as gimmicky although the amp you have should have better quality amps in it compared to a £300 AV with having less...
3 pages and not mentioned apart from you... (and now me)
Funny thing is that it's the kind of incident where ABS quite possibly would prevent it happening like it or not... Unlucky for the OP:(.
That Tannoy sub is okay but it won't compliment the speakers your looking at (I had the older version).
The Mission Floorstanders I posted would be better without that sub.
The BK subs are very good. Especially the Monoliths...
One thing to consider with bookshelf speakers is that with the added cost of stands then they quite often cost as much as a floor stander in the first place.
Because of the low frequency of subs they can be put almost anywhere as the human ear can't detect the source of those sounds.
In other words by the sofa will be fine...
Amp that is decent for the money and will do all you want. £315

Good floorstanders for the money £200

Can be had cheaper here if you...
Just watched this on Click and did a quick search. S3 mini with a small 4" screen for people with tiny hands!

How's that then?
When my phone has a weak signal and drops down to 3g from hsdpa+ it still gives me greater speeds than when I used to have a 2G phone with a good signal. Surely the same will apply?
The LTE (4G) signals are also meant to travel further than than 3G so it should mean less weak...
I don't doubt the iphone has out sold the S3 in launch month. But I can't see how you can prove that that ad didn't sway some customers to the S3. If Samsung didn't sell one handset then maybe but I'm sure they sold a good few...
This thread is funny...
It's also funny how when Markcup created a not dissimilar thread in the "Apple" section the other week it was removed because certain people on the admin team don't like to see any Apple bashing going on in that section yet anyone and everyone is free to bash Android all...
I thought that on one part. Thought I must have set my surround wrong the other day but obviously not now. Still it's been an interesting episode again.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
220hp and lighter than the 200 so should go well...
Doubt the box will be at it limits. I make the above out to mean actually remapping with the type of box will be difficult?
Another good episode imo.
I really do think Suzuki are missing a big trick with the Swift though. I think it could make a brilliant hothatch if they gave it 200bhp or so...
