    182 test drive!!!

Rubbish, it's because statistics show that your more likely to bin it than an older person by the fact that more younger people bin it....

    MOT

It's the airbag wires tied under the seats but it's not the same problem as yours so ignore the post, it's pointless tbh.

My 182 hates 95 Ron! Seriously lacks power, anyone else notice this?

I don't think it's there to be noticed as such. It's more to keep economy/emissions rather than a boost in performance...

    installing a Cup pack on a 182

The Cup spoiler can be had 2nd hand for around £150, £10 pounds for a Fabia splitter and then just get some Eibach Sportlines (£140) to make the handling/looks better than a Cupped one anyway. Job done!

    whiteline ARB

Start soft and see how you like it then move up to medium if you feel the need. Don't start on the strongest setting because it's more likely to catch you out imo.

Will I regret not getting a 172 cup?

Really?? Taken from Ehow On roads that are partially covered by ice, ABS can help the driver stop and steer the vehicle more effectively, provided he keeps the brake pedal depressed, and does not pump the brakes. Under severe conditions when the entire road is covered with ice, all four wheels...

Will I regret not getting a 172 cup?

The engines can vary to much for that to be Fact so therefore isn't where CS's are concerned! As for the ABS thing if you drive carefully it shouldn't be much of an issue. But we can all get caught out from time to time even driving carefully and anyone who thinks they can control a lockup as...

    scart to hdmi?

You can get a plug that goes in the old one and turns into hdmi for about £15. Failing that get a component cable for it for around the same price, picture quality will be just as good.

    scart to hdmi?

Spend all that money on a new TV and not spending a few quid on an HDMI cable to make the Xbox HD = major fail.... As said ask for a new V box also.

I drove mine around for nearly 2 weeks without a back box while I waited for my appointment to have a new one fitted. It was livable up to 3k then after that it really did make the ears bleed lol. I will never forget that 40 mile trip on the motorway to get the new one fitted:S. Make sure...

    182 help

I don't think I'd ever do a swap. There has to be a reason why some one would want a swap and9 out of 10 times I can't see that reason being good.

But if you did the same said qualification's and spent 10 years using it'd be just as quick/easy to do things.

anyone got a cheap netbook for wirless surfing

Might have had a lot of crap on it.... I admit after a fresh install XP will probably run quicker but a fresh install of 7 will keep the average user running quicker over a longer period of time before they f**k it up...

anyone got a cheap netbook for wirless surfing

I'd say 7 runs better on old machines overall compared to XP. I've stuck it on loads now and it's always been fine.

The good Marantz were re branded Phillips Pronto's iirc. They were also expensive. I also read the other day that Phillips are stopping to make them now.
