I'd go 1080P if I was you. Some say SD pictures can be better on 720P though.
What about this. Same panel as the LG pk590 but with a few less options. Then again I think I'd still just get the 590 my self for just another £100...

According to my mate who lives in France all 2nd hand cars cost loads more than over here. Looks like thats the case all over Europe. Not sure about places like Poland though?
+1
Although I will add that I didn't have any issues more than keeping with a mk3 160bhp tdi FR effort in France. I was 2 up with 2 mountain bikes, 2 tents and all the other s**t for a few days camping.
DNP, the point is no one knows what version the OP is talking about!
This would probably be my choice if I had enough funds... 50" Can be had for £1250 as well:(, 60" would be stunning...

I got a free Samsung galaxy out of t-mobile when they messed me about for 4 weeks sending a letter to the insurance to say I reported my phone lost.
They could send me a phone as a goodwill gesture next day but couldn't send my insurance an email/letter next day lol.
Had to kick off a lot to...
Exactly! No tv is perfect but out of this year range Panasonic seem to have more problems than the LG's going by the research I put in when deciding what to get and they cost a lot more!
And you go by what the staff at currys tell you lol?
Bet if you run some slides on it for 10 min that help get rid of bad retention then they would go... and I also bet if you used one under normal home conditions nothing of the kind would happen.
I only put the links in to help guide the op...
You have edgelit and backlit LED. It's just a different way of lighting it. They are both LCD technology which are said generally not to produce as good a picture as a good Plasma.
When you say proper LED do you mean OLED? as that is totally different and when size and price is right should be...
Suppose it depends on budgets and how long you see your self keeping the TV for. I wasn't prepared to pay an extra £400 + extra glasses for the addition of 3D. I just couldn't justify it with the amount of content available. Especially considering that i would never pay the £60 a month or what...
3D is still 1st gen right now. It's bound to get a lot better over the next few years as content and hardware improve. I was just in the position of should I, shouldn't I? In the end I went for a very good HD tv for £600 with a view to selling it in 2-3 years for 2-£300 and getting a much better...
i will have to check nearer the time for this but its a good possibility.
Oh and Brookie, you inbox is full... Hankook V12 evo's are what your after;).
Think you mean image retention tbh;), it's near impossible to burn a modern plasma these days. I have to say the 590 suffers from very little retention and it goes very quickly when it does.
Here are to favorable reviews for the 590...
According to people on avforum they are better than the pana g20 and v20' s and they cost loads more... plenty have converted to LG now. worth a look on the forum. I will post a link to the thread when I get home.
Got mine from dixons with a code from hot UK deals and 3% cash back from quidco...
LG 50pk590 plasma is the best you can get. I just spent ages looking and got that and its stunning to watch. Full 1080p and THX certified and looks nice... There are 3 huge threads about it on avforum under the LG section. I ended up getting mine for £605 after discounts.
