Saw you shoot past Kings mill hospital around 5:15pm tonight.. I was in a van so you wouldn't of noticed me LOL!
Car looked awesome man, Vee's have so much road presence spotted you from a 100 meters away
They've been dropped of with a few other select parts for the Tango'ing process :D
Cant wait to see the finished results.. "RAL 2004 PURE ORANGE" is the brightest/stupidest orange they do, so hopefully should do the job!
LOOOOOOOOOL!!
Anything over "standard" is illegal... So the millions of cars driving around the U.K with different exhausts on are illegal?!
All exhaust systems produce different noise levels... all dependant on the make, age, box design etc.
It only takes a matter of minutes to bolt an inlet and plenum on a jig... select the correct program, press the start button and the CNC "matches" them for you ;)
I guess no more than a 20min process for the CNC machine..
Ive got a Sparco 300 and absolutely love it, I drive the car everyday.. IMO day to day driving is alot easier now as it doesn't feel like your driving a bus compared to the standard wheel, all movents are nice and subtle now!! Never really need to go more than 3/4 of a turn with the small wheel
It is a decent weight saver... I estimate around 10 - 15kg if you completely remove all the aircon crap!
And even better as your removing weight of the front axle :D
Right... Rang KW, as usual a very helpful chap on the phone :)
Need to get in touch with Andy @ Yozzasport as he was the original supplier and fill out a "technical reply form" which will then be sent to Germany for analysis, after that KW will send me or Yozzasport a replacement shock absorber...
Ive run PF97's on the road for about 5000miles with Brembo Max, braided lines, super blue fluid etc..... experienced no problems at all, in fact I think it could possibly be the best set-up i've tried with out moving onto 4-pots (which IMO is over kill on the clio anway!!)
Sounds brilliant dude... I've just fitted coilovers, so will have one immense set-up done after everything else is fitted!
Found out the other day I have a cup racer team 10minutes away from my house, rang the guys up and they agreed to set the car up for me!
Cheers for the info
I am 50/50 whether or not just to fit a DCI (manual) steering rack and go all out hardcore.. But for the foreseeable future the car is still going to be my daily ride!!
Back to the old days of manual steering, ill have to get the arms pumped up again LOL
ahhhh... this doesn't sound too bad then!
I had images of changing all the PAS lines/pump just to ditch the air-con, I imagine the new PAS line could be purchased from Renault at some silly price?
Just need the find somebody breaking a cup
Not sure dude... all was going well, I have being absoooolutly loving the new set-up, but after a trip to Manchester last week the drivers side rear strut started making a funny noise over any bump or movement :S then when I checked the dampening cannot be adjusted now, very strange?! just more...
Do you also need a cup alternator, or just the bracket its self?
Also do you need any other parts to retain PAS.. I have heard rumours that the cup PAS pump and lines are different? :s
yeah they are the Koni/KW rear dampeners.. brilliant quality and I cannot fault them at all!
What course of action would you suggest Andy as I can afford to have to car off the road for x amount of days until they rebuild the dampener if I need to send it away to KW?
