KW v2 rear shock dead?!?!

Had my KW v2's on the car for no more than 1000miles now, cant fault them at all....

But the rear drivers side shock absorber has start knocking (sounds like a box of shoes rolling around in the rear of the car) Also the dampening adjuster does not work, its just stuck and the whole body of the strut tries to moves before the nipple will/would! :dapprove:

Any suggestions, I am thinking this will be a case of sending back to KW for a re-build?

sounds like a unit failure - which is surprising as they are good quality dampers.

yeah they are the Koni/KW rear dampeners.. brilliant quality and I cannot fault them at all!

What course of action would you suggest Andy as I can afford to have to car off the road for x amount of days until they rebuild the dampener if I need to send it away to KW?

They were the ones I bought off you in Aug Yoz!

Grey - what happened to them? They were tip top pre-bump and as you know, there was no rear damages at all!

Grey - ring the UK KW office, speak to that bloke that was emailing us! He was quite good at getting things sorted out.

Not sure dude... all was going well, I have being absoooolutly loving the new set-up, but after a trip to Manchester last week the drivers side rear strut started making a funny noise over any bump or movement :S then when I checked the dampening cannot be adjusted now, very strange?! just more of my bad luck I guess LOL!

Right... Rang KW, as usual a very helpful chap on the phone

Need to get in touch with Andy @ Yozzasport as he was the original supplier and fill out a "technical reply form" which will then be sent to Germany for analysis, after that KW will send me or Yozzasport a replacement shock absorber when they found out what went wrong with it.

Tried to call you a few times this afternoon Andy but got your answer phone, would appreciate it if you could PM me or let me know a suitable time to call you.
