I'm running the Hankook V12's on the front of mine at the moment. Great so far in the dry but not as good as my old Eagle F1's in the wet. Can't comment on the wear yet but 2 fitted for £110 was a bargain tbh:D.
I haven't tried the PE2's, in what way do you think they're better out of interest?
And I heard a rummer that the only reason people go up there at night now was for the dogging;)
Someone thought they could refurbish the old pub before getting planning permission. They got forced to pull it all down which although right it was a shame because of the location. t***s!!
True but it would take more than a 190/300 vectra with 4 adults in to achieve that. Iif you timed them both on a drag strip with the same driver/conditions I would put a good few ££ on the clio taking it somehow!
Could be a 1000 reasons for that but I doubt it was the diffuser imo. I'm not even convinced the Clio rides low enough for the diffuser to have any effect tbh.
PMSL, 40kg at VERY high speed. It then refers to the side air vents as intakes before referring to them as vents in the next bit lol.
Very believable:rolleyes:.
As I said somethings not right. I had a play with a 325d the other month. They have 194bhp and 290lb torque and I comfortably beat it and I would put my money on those been quicker than a Vectra with 4 adults in it lol.
Also an Astra 888 is 17.65 to 100 and I really can't see the Vectra been...
I find it very hard to believe a 190 bhp Vec with whatever torque it has been able to beat any of the RS clios. Especially when its 4 up. Somethings not right imo.
Don't agree with the different market thing tbh. I would say that the more mature (in age) are more likely to be able to afford them though.
The one single thing that would put me off ever getting one is the economy other than that they're great imo. But because of that I would rather get an RS...
Oh right is that why most manufactures are heading towards smaller engines with turbo's and/or super chargers then?
So you call that great evolution when I can happily see 35-45mpg on my 172 (depending on type of journey).
The only thing I can see the diffuser doing is reducing the drag...
A lot of front wheel cars have the rear spoilers to give the air a smoother flow off the back which can help with stability rather than give it down force. It can also help improve economy due to having less drag.
Iirc they had to add spoilers to the back window surrounds on the mk1 Sierra...
