For all the tossers you come across there's always some nice people. Got to say though I was glad when I got off 1st line though. That probably depends on what organisation you work for though.
Plenty of good roads around Colne Valley, Sadleworth Moors, Calder Valley (my haunting ground) and the surrounding area. There are some good roads up near you around Otley/Stainurn way. Then there is the Yorkshire Dales near by and the Peak District. Shall I go on...
Looks like the new name for MCP/MCSA/MCSE to me after a quick look? If they're paying for it then do it. Wish the college I work for would pay for me to do something like that:(.
Mines on 72k now and was the one thing that stopped it feeling like a new car (to me any way!) when I first got it at 58k. Sand blasted ftl.
Got a chip beyond repair (after I pushed it out to make sure;)) and £70 later it feels like a new car. To many chips on the bumper/bonnet for my liking...
98ron will make sod all difference to the outright performance. Also remember your mate was probs screwing the tits off his corsa to try and keep up when as you said you weren't thrashing yours!
My Powerflow looks perfectly stealth and also sounds about as loud as the standard one but nicer. Depends where you get them done and what you ask for imo.
But fully synthetic oil is designed to last those kind of miles driven hard or not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting it last 12k or 1 year.
But if Renault recommend 12k then I'm sure they're saying that on the side of caution and could probably do another good few 1000 without damaging it. Waste of time doing it every 6k or 6 months imo.
At the same time your a bit of a muppet to think a MK5 GTI will leave a 1*2. I pulled along side a 08 Leon FR which is the same car. GTI's aint all that....
