get it bouncing off the limiter (make sure it's warm, dont want to cause any damage) and you'll get a better air velocity into the engine so the sand can act to it's full potential
oh, and this is what I've had developed, including bump AND rebound damping adjustment front and rear, 182 cup fitment, AND proper rear coilovers

Jenveys, each and every time. Having driven one recently, the AT's are no better than they were 3 years ago. No balls, despite being very well manufactured
generally if reverse and 5th go in without any fuss, then there's nothing wrong with the linkage alignment
Previously the gearbox mount was literally about to fall part, thats going to alter how it feel very significantly.
Wondering if it might be worth changing the cable just incase the...
it isn't particularly. I've put together a couple of cars with high compression and standard inlet (with port matching and headwork) and they've been significantly over 200bhp
if you have a cat for a ph1 without a 2nd lambda sensor, then you need the center section to match. Very early ph1
you would not have had that cat as standard, and you should have 2 lambda sensors
Re: MK1 F7R track car project
I've just spoken to Laine who told me you'd changed the cambelt with NO locking tools at all

I'm assuming as you didn't follow the timing procedure, that you didn't use the correct torque and angle settings for the crank pulley. PLEASE don't drive it of even...
I'm £450 all in for parts and labour on a clutch change now (clutch price just gone up loads!!!) Off the top of my head I'm not sure how much the shaft seal is, but i'd thing in the region of £10-£15
Good luck getting one made from appropriate material for significantly less. Last time I bought the aero grade ali you'd want for that it was around £100/sq m.
Makes the OMP one look like a quite reasonable price IMO
the only way you'll be able to tell it to remove the gearbox.
I expect there is an oil leak from the gearbox main shaft seal that is getting onto the clutch, and your man hasn't spotted it so it's contaminated the new clutch just as it did the old one. I wouldn't strongly blame him, but it's...
you had ph1's with 2 fuel lines though IIRC. Different situation as you have an FPR in the rail with a pressure line to it which compensates and increases fuel pressure by the same level as boost. This give you slightly better power potential from any size injector (in simple terms).
Tutuur...
they're not ITB's really, they've had the throttle plates removed, so they're just runners. The Jenvey turbo plenum is a superbly designed piece of kit thats being incresingly used on massive power builds on a lot of cars. I lost count of the engines at Autosport last year that had them on. Proper
