If your talking about a PH1-172 i thought the exhaust ports were slightly larger on those engines anyway, compared to the PH2's?

yes you should be able to buy it direct from magnex.. Give them a call see what they can do for you?

yes its still worth remapping the car if its relativly standard.. you just wont see as much of a gain compared to having inlet work, panel filter and an aftermarket exhaust? personally i would go for an ITG filter, most people rate then highly on here! you would prob be looking around 180bhp...

IIRC it had all the above plus some headwork by Angelworks? maybe wrong though :S

Angel works do it on an exchange basis... £170 plus your orignal set, and they send you a matched set IIRC

on your model the pump is driven by the cambelt... so if the water pump fails it could damage the cambelt, which will then cause a knock on affect of damage. even if the pump is replaced, you will still need new cambelt an tensioners

I brought this when i got my cam an aux belt kit.. didnt changed the water pump as my mechanic said it looked fine? the pump isnt cambelt driven on the 172 is it? Out of interest where is the pump?

You dont have to chage anything... There not going to think "hmmm lowered suspension, better change that for standard and charge him extra" regards to the air filter your service should be cheaper becuase they wont be replacing the filter.

Yes its the Laguna 2.0 8V bottom end that can be fitted.. gains of around 15bhp when remap i imagine, but shed loads more torque! When i had my RSi i spoke to Nick at Hillpower he has tuned quite a few RSi's before and is a very knowledgeable chap.. with head work, exhaust manifold work...

Is this the magnex system on ebay your looking at? I looked into this the flange is acutally an extra connecting pipe thats around 2 or 3" long, that isnt in the auction is it? I wouldnt bother with it TBH unless you can fabricate the extra piece of pipe then get it welded up? What exhaust...

noooo dont go for the 182 lookalike! your budget covers most exhaust systems for the 172... Prospeed, GDI, Yozzasport are some of the more popular systems on here
