Ive done it and still love it, to be honest if you know the basics about car maintence your fine.. i study I.T at uni and i am more than fine IMO!

But to cut a long story short they have accepted liabiliy, so are going to pay for the damage..
My local body shop and i say it will need front bumper + bonnet respray and have it matched in...
Old type R hardly anything between them, he will prob creep ahead
New type R... from a standing start up to 90mph i was around 3-4 car lengths ahead :o
jizz... apply thin and evenly for best results!
seriously though you can get a two part wipe in a packet, we have them at work.. one wet to clean the screen and remove any marks and a dry to wipe down.

nobody acutally makes on specifically for the MK2 PH-1 sport...
you can fit the PH-2 ones, but they require a bit of trimming and IIRC the oil feed doesnt fit "correctly"

My friends 2002 clio sport covered 72, his was shagged!!
Renault state they should last for 144K or 11yrs... IIRC its something like that?

apparantly insurance companies work along the lines of this basis :
open auto trader look for 3 of the same model cars with simlear mileage/year
add the 3 prices of those cars together, divide by 3 to get the average.. AKA the value of your car!?
