    bleeding brakes?

is it the rears that are causing an issue? likely a seized compensator valve. Mine did it and it just closed off all fluid flow the the rear calipers

Gray's World War 2 Spec Meggy Exhaust.

It's AMAZING. Fierce as f**k without any drone. Proper

JUST CHANGED LAMDA SENSOR AND EMISSIONS LIGHT HAS COME BACK ON

half? Dont think i've seen a faulty lambda show up as a fault in the last 2 years, but they still give incorrect readings. Misfiring makes me thing it's more likely an ignition based fault

    theycallmepaul's 1.6

I really like the K4M engine, massively under rated. Really nice colour you've found too!!

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

Last 10 minutes was brilliant watching Dave and Scott flying round. Amazing times between the pair of them!

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

lol, ;) loves the banter. You did something right either way. 2nd is the new 1st anyway

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

come in, stop for 3 seconds, go. Faster than someone climbing in and out of a cart, saved themselves about 10 seconds each time, and i think they did it 3 times

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

Burpspeed won it. Pulled out a pretty big lead due to a quite frankly genius pit strategy of not actually changing drivers when they did their pit stops.

How to fit an exhaust manifold!!!! Do I need to slacken off engine mounts?

support the engine on a jack (use a piece of wood if your jack doesn't have a large saddle) remove the upper engine mount bracket, then lower the engine a little. Should help

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

Re: Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet - PAYMENT IN CASH ONLY ON THE DAY!! Brilliant day, team event was definitely a really good way to go. Still say the result was a fix though ;)

Which exhaust from this list for my 182? Any experiences with these?

other systems save more weight than that though. The stock system is a bit of a behemoth. wont be anything even close to 10bhp gain. maybe 1 or 2 if you're lucky ;)

Which exhaust from this list for my 182? Any experiences with these?

all stainless systems grow a little when hot, nothing you can do about it really. All the most popular systems run a single box. You're going to see no power advantage from 2 boxes, but you will see more weight

Which exhaust from this list for my 182? Any experiences with these?

From the point of view of having fitted most of them........I wouldn't discount the piper, it's one of the best quality. Miltek systems crack, one of the highest returns rates, and fitting is a complete arse. The KTR/Janspeed system is nice, Fits really well and really easily, the Ultra is...

best upgraded brakes for 1.2 16v Campus

Nothing at all wrong with the braking power of drums, they just get hotter a lot faster and fade. Clio rears do very little anyway so don't bother upgrading, just make sure everything is working as intended. Fronts I would again make sure everything is operating correctly, and if needed just new...

    FMIC efficiency, turbo-SC conversions

That in honesty sounds like a case of using a turbo thats too small and over working it. Small turbos just turn into air warmers once they pass peak efficiency. Bigger turbo, less boost, same air flow, less heat

    FMIC efficiency, turbo-SC conversions

I've removed factory intercoolers that gave 5psi+ pressure drops and replaced with ebay cores to see negligable pressure drops

    FMIC efficiency, turbo-SC conversions

I agree. Used different sizes, dozens of times and always with good results. Cars with same spec as yours had no issues with intake temps Adey, always very good. Nor retarding the ignition timing to s**t helps though lol

    Oil Leak?!?

liquid gasket is more than adequate for this, that gasket is a piss-take price

    290 psi!!!!

indeed ;) a compression test is only really useful if you know what you should be seeing to start with, but done in hot, cold, wet and dry (oiled) conditions can tell you a hell of a lot about where a fault lies
  21. S

    290 psi!!!!

I would say anything as low as 150psi has deteriorated enough to be down on power

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

    290 psi!!!!

have to remove the plenum on these. I actually started typing the same thing hehe
  24. S

    290 psi!!!!

for reference, I would expect a stock engine to make 170-190psi and a high compression fully built engine with something like cat 422s to be around 230psi
  25. S

    290 psi!!!!

possibly 428s them, still very very mild exactly this.

    compression test

120 is LOW!! is the sealing ring on the tester in good condition, and was the face it mates to in the head clean?
  29. S

    290 psi!!!!

thats pretty extreme, I expect you have errors on the gauge. It's not impossibly high compression though as you have basically standard cams

    182 CAMBELT AND DEPHASER!

the procedure is exactly the same when replacing the dephaser or not. sounds like this guy wasn't slackening the cam pulleys.
