    Valve stem oil seal change?

just remove the head. Not at all hard on that engine. Get yourself a haynes manual, and yes, use new headbolts, they're about £15

    Coily advice!!!! Mk3!

I've driven a 1.6 mk3 with Weitecs fitted. Really nice, and they're good quality kit. I think the best advice would be to get good coilovers, or stick with lowering springs in this case

Will these camber bolts fit my vmax coilys

vmaxx use a bolt with an eccentric washer for adjustment. I've got to call the supplier tomorrow, I'll see if they can do the bolts separately

Will these camber bolts fit my vmax coilys

no, they work in a different way entirely

    Ph1 172 Major Engine Problem

It's not actually a stretch bolt. It's a bolt with a limit of stretch (much like any bolt) A stretch bolt is something entirely different which normally has a section of the shank that will notably change. Page 7-11 of the F4R-730 manual - the assessories pulley bolt can be re-used if the...

    Ph1 172 Major Engine Problem

Most likely the crank pulley has slipped Now you've broken the rocker cover you'll be better off finding a good complete head and swapping that on (as long as the pistons aren't damaged)

    Rolling road fail

kind of true, although wont usually shoot forwards at all. Roller inertia pushes the car backwards because of the direction of rotation, then the front will swing (exactly as in the OP) Lots easier to stop the car wheels spinning than it is a big steel roller. easy to stop it though, side to...

Unlikely to have much effect at full throttle. Would have caused a fair imbalance between cylinders at light throttle and idle though......and your brakes would have been suffereing

    MOT de-cat annoyance

to be fair, the manifold to downpipe join is a massive fiddle, even with 2 people

Running on 3 after big bang and now idles at 2.5k?! :(

high idle is consistent with a vacuum leak, so a sensor being blown out of a reasonable theory

That looks like it's been rubbing on something for a long time. Not too hard to make yourself a up a new servo vac line.

    Bumper bracket scuffing

the toe will change by altering the height. You'll be running more toe-in by raising the height. Will likely have reduced the camber at the same time. Oh, I set it to just under 1.5degrees of camber before btw, not 1 degree ;)

    brake pad choices

agree with Tony. They're what i'd reccomend for a road car

    Engine idle raised and surging

does sound a lot like an airleak

    Yellow Gunk

the weather recently has been extremely conducive to condensation within engines. You've probably been struggling to get over 3k rpm and barely getting warmed up.

Nokia 6300. Ran one over with a scenic and it still worked. Use one as my work phone still. If i can't break it, it can't be broken

    Rsi temp. problem

does it keep getting hotter, or just goes a bit higher than you think it normal? if it's stable at just above half, I'd say that was healthy and normal

whats the best way to hit 190-200bhp?

Power is the way forward. Stripped out track toys are all well and good, but pretty useless as a daily

Changing the main radiator without removing the bumper?

will save you an hour of dicking about, and probably a dented rad if you remove the bumper and slam panel

whats the best way to hit 190-200bhp?

stripping makes people sell cars becuase they dont like them anymore ;) and makes the car worth less to buyers, and reduces the number of people who'll be interested in the first place
