Well just took both rear clusters off no corrosion didn't have any wd40 so will have to try the above tomorrow, started pouring with rain too.

My son just came round in his ph1 Clio 1.2 and when he presses the brakes the dash lights up and the headlights flash as does the rear bumper reg plate light? Any ideas?

I'd agree, u were mad to buy this. Total money pit. I had a mint one years ago, compared to say a ph1 172 they are piles of s**t. Can't believe how people hanker over these old fords and why they cost so much even back when they came out they were average at best. Your money and time though.

Hi dave, I presume these were my pure top mounts. They didn't come with those collers and I got them new from pure, not sure if they changed the design or something but swr didn't have any issues when they fitted them. Ps hope your enjoying the car.
