Lol yeah that's the one, yeah she knows, she seems cool with it. Got a flight booked to stansted in couple of weeks and stopping at Leeds at my sisters on the road back up and stay over. Must resist popping in to rs tuning!
Glad u got the old girl back on the road. Oh and I'll be back in fold very soon, pick it up when I get back from holiday in 2 weeks, can't wait, it's a minter!
suppose it depends where the car has spent the majority of its life and how well the owners have cleaned the cars and kept the arches clear of grit/dirt etc, my old flamers were spotless, i still cant decide whether to go for another ph1 or a cup, will depend on whats available when i get...
weird how its went like that, my ph1's rear arches were mint. that would put me off buying it though tbh, rest of the car looks nice and its a cracking spec too.
Owned a white 88 model rs turbo about 10 years ago, was mint and standard. Handling is rubbish, even with aftermarket suspension which I had fitted, sound decent with a mongoose system, nice turbo whistle, need set up and tuned to run right.

Just had a call from the garage after my Cambelt failure, it's bad. All 16 valves are bent, a rocker is broken, it's damaged the power steering pump, the dephaser needs done, the water pump etc etc etc. 2050 to get it fixed. Just not worth it due to the value of the car. Gutted to say the least.

Due to my Cambelt failure should I go for this rather than have my head rebuilt along with some 438s or will...
Would love another one, but finding a proper minter would be tough and would cost, agree about the seats btw, Williams ones so comfy and supportive plus go nice and low
Ok mate I'll make sure it's on the to do list. They r picking it up on monday from my work. On a side note are u cheaper than ktec for the 438's bearing in mind I get 5% off with them?
Well spoke to swr in Falkirk who I have used before as have others on here and get a good rep, as I thought I'm looking at a grand roughly to get her fixed, my folks have offered to help, going to get the car to them, check the damage and I mentioned catcam 438's and removing air con with pure...
