Still loving this thing.
Deffo a convert to 5 door auto/adaptive M135i's. Manual 3dr ones on passive dampers can still get in the sea though lol.
Trip home to Cornwall confirmed that it aint no family wagon however. Not entirely sure where BabyJohns would have gone in amongst this lot...
I didn't actually try one with passive, as PASM was on my “must have” list, but i was very happy with my experience of Ashgood, id happily buy a car from them. They have enough stock for you to try one with/one without quite easily by the way.
That one looks lovely ... barring the 30k between...
No lol, mines lemon leather with black carpet, dash & doorcards, thats beige with beige everywhere.
It looks ok if you retrofit black plastics, but otherwise, do not want.
Beige
Not beige:
Re: the xenons, or lack of. You can buy Depos that at least look like xenons these days so its not...
Buy this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-SERIES-E90-E91-PRE-LCI-I-DRIVE-INTERIOR-DASH-GEAR-DOOR-TRIM-FINE-WOOD/254422436139
Not the best condition and/or colour (light burr walnut is waff), but if you want to wrap/spray it it would work ok ...
So, being that the good old 335i hasnt moved since it was MOT'd, i really should think about selling it.
Advert is here: https://cliosport.net/threads/bmw-e90-335i-sport-manual-%C2%A35-995-ono.829796/
I'm open to any sensible offers and would happily do a good deal on it for a CS member.
If turbofans are good enough for the Manthey Racing GT2 RS, they are good enough for a clio.
Get it done lad.
btw, ignore most of the old farts on here, most of us are just jealous you actually still have a clio.
If i was doing anything id supercharge it.
From my understanding, the first thing most turbo converted clios do when they are done is:
A. Blow them up
B. Sell them
C. A mixture of the above
Without wishing to change the subject, ktec is actually for sale.
David's been quite ill for a while - last time i spoke to him (in 2015) he had stage 3 liver failure :(
I thought the same. In these situations, its always easy to jump to the defence of the accuser, but without hearing the...
Nope, you’re thinking of a different car, this one wasn’t advertised for £12k as far as im aware.
She’s had it since May 2008!! Bought it on 64k, now on 140k. Great car, she’ll never sell it lol.
Yup, it was spaced as "AH 52RAH" for years (like mine were D8VY J & D3VY J), but then we both got older/more sensible and changed them all to legal spacing.
Firstly, i didnt even realise Fast Car was still going :ROFLMAO:
Secondly, ill vote if @charlie 182 pays his membership for CS. Everyone else has to lol.
Thanks! We're both super excited about the little person ...
It needs to understand that cars are life early on though, hence the insistence on 6 cylinder turbos for getting about haha.
Oil Temp Gauge was standard on the 335i's of all ages, not on other cars though annoyingly.
Thats the idea...
From my research on the V5 names, it seems it was bought/specced from new by the chap that wrote "Only Fools & Horses" and when he died in April 2011, it passed to his wife. My initial thoughts are that she kept it (purely because it was his i imagine) but barely used it - bar the occasional dog...
I wasnt going to post this anywhere (as im sure many people already think im boring/mad), but i thought there might be a few people that would be interested (y)
Car wise, its pretty rare to begin with, so a Space grey '58 plate LCI, 335i touring auto with the N54 engine. Options wise its got...
Would probably help if the F2*'s steering wheel wasnt connected to a 3 wheeled Vauxhall Astra in another county :ROFLMAO: ;)
The car/you felt really nervous though, although difficult to tell whether it was the new tyres (clearly not that great in the wet), or because the track was just...
See i dont mind them in the wet, and they are great in the dry, but in damp/greasy conditions they are absolutely shocking!!
Been using it far more over the last few days and am thoroughly enjoying it tbh, the way it can switch between relaxing barge (comfort) and "bouncy clio" (sport) is...
Thanks for organising @Davyy !!
Also, massive thumbs up to whoever brought the TT along, genuinely one of the best builds ive seen in years (y)
The way that thing spooled up and came on boost :love::love:
Yup, it could be a cat d, ex driving school car with a ph1 engine and dual controls and people would still pay good money for it because of the colour.
Its also because growing up, all the Ford boys fitted Spax suspension and/or cut springs to their Fiestas, so when they eventually trade up to a Focus RS, they also expect the ride to be hard as f*ck. If they're my age, they are also used to their RS Turbo or CVH XR3i sh1tting itself and blue...
Pretty sure that came in on the 2010 facelift models, so this has the ZF6. XHP can be loaded to improve it however.
Which reminds me, as its a pre-facelift, its an “SD” not a “35d” i think.
Unfortunately not, but advert/general spec is as follows:
X5 xdrive 35d se, 7seat, 98k fsh, mostly from cobham bmw in the last 5 years. New rear diff costing £2k+ done at BMW in the last 12 months.
