Yeah, i thought about one of those as well, but this ended up being £235 delivered, so quite a bit cheaper than a P3.
Is annoying losing the vent though as thats where i normally put my phone for Waze!!
Have now driven the car a little bit more, seems i have the rattle steering rack that 99%...
Stoopid facebook wont link it properly. you have to click where it says "about a week ago".
It'll do mid 30's in combined use, but its only doing teens driving the 1 mile to nursery and back :ROFLMAO:
Not mine, but i bought it for a friend (the same one who is selling the 335d listed in the other thread), mechanically its very good, lots of recent work done.
I had intended to buy this back off him in 6 months time (hence why i bought it in the first place), but he's decided it uses too much...
When i was looking, albeit briefly, a couple of months ago, alot of the cheaper ones tend to be ex police. When they are still SE's these are easy to spot, but quite often (& in the usual predictable areas), the cars have had other parts retrofitted to make them look like luxury's/M sports etc...
Not mine, but i helped buy it for a friend, mechanically its very good, lots of recent work done: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201910063027641
BTW. I told him to get rid of those god awful wheels, but he insisted on getting them refurbed black instead :ROFLMAO:
If you'd driven an e9* before the M140i like i suggested, you'd realise how sh1t it is lol. I've got both at the moment and the e90's is just soooooo much better.
@jenic i know exactly what you mean about the interior, it is worse quality imho (& the e90 was worst than the e46), its things like...
I thought so too, but that seemed to be what everyone was offering, so i sold it to the first person that actually put their money where their mouth was :ROFLMAO:
Which reminds me @Cribert, i have a brand new 330i Bilstein B12 setup in the shed that'll be for sale soon. Let me know if you're...
Just been collected by the new owner - hell of a lot of car for £4.5k!!!
Shame no one on CS bought it really ... was an absolute bargain at that price imho.

Yeah i first had it on my e90 M3, the difference was noticeable, then again on the RS3 (although that was just hard, or rattly & hard lol) and the PASM on the Boxster was amazing. The M135i deffo needs adaptive though i think, unless you replace the passive dampers with Bilsteins, they are...
I fitted a Ring Doorbell2 and Spotlight Cam the other day.
Seem to work ok so far, installation was simple and the floodlight lights up the carpark nicely at night.
Have already told someone having a p1ss next to the wheelie bin to f*ck off via the loudspeaker :ROFLMAO:
Honestly, havent looked lol.
I tend to make sure cars are running perfectly as standard first though, so a service, replacement of spark plugs/coils etc, then perhaps and intercooler and Stage 1 map with something like MHD. For the moment though, its keeping me entertained as standard, the...
I was very excited.
Obligatory fuel & Maccy D's stops ...

Until yesterday when i gave it a clean :ROFLMAO:
Being that it was chucking it down when i collected it, i had a quick look over it, paid and drove off.
Unfortunately, my...
Im sure ill take you up on that offer @MarkCup !!
Yeah, they are decent enough in terms of all round usage, i always thought that a 5dr auto would make a great family car when i had my 3dr manual!
They are common, but thats because of the cheap lease/pcp deals i guess, its often cheaper to get...
TLDR: I bought a new car.
So the Porsche has gone and im left with an e90 335i and an e91 335d. Sarah, after nearly 12 years, still has the TT. I am on car no. 38.
Parking where i live is about to become permit only and im not allowed one (we have a carpark), so after running (at least) 2 cars...
It nearly was actually, but i faffed about and missed out on a gorgeous Tanzanite 335i with Individual Opal white leather, HK, pro nav, adaptive suspension & sunroof! Only had 29k miles as well. Although tbf, it was a shedload more than i wanted to pay at £16k ... You know me though, i like to...
Naturally another BMW. Although not an e9* for once ...
Need to spend less time f*cking about with cars and more time working now im self-employed!!!
Haha, mine got the CIC though, so you'd need to upgrade that as well though ...
So with that in mind ...
Deposit now placed on its replacement ... 335i for sale here: https://cliosport.net/threads/bmw-e90-335i-sport-manual-£5-995-ono.828765/
Haha, i have pondered them actually, there is this one for sale at the mo that is in need of some retrofits:

I could probably help code via Teamviewer if that was any use - you could be my test dummy ;)
Does it have any fleck in...
Perhaps.
To be honest, i just like tinkering, so when a car is at the point where i've realstically retrofitted everything i can, it makes to sell it & start again :ROFLMAO:
Makes sense in my head, plus it means someone on CS has the opportunity to buy one of my super OCD BMW geek creations...
lol @ the restraint system :ROFLMAO:
I was in the midst of updating the software with Winkfp, hence the code, all sorted now!
Yeah, CCC is poor in terms of something things, ie iphone/ipod control, lack of bluetooth streaming, etc, but tbf, i dont even think those things were invented in 2007...
More tinkering lately, have the MOT booked for later on today, so needed to make sure everything was working ok ...
Coincidentally, the car hadnt really been charging the battery properly since it went to BMW for its B+ cable recall (it actually cut out on the motorway as well, which was...
