Looks great. Sam's is brilliant, and Dan's was going bloody well by all accounts :)

    Stophs flamered turbo build

Either will make a hell of a difference on road and track. Along with the RC kit from Mark, best mod I've done to mine. Hands down.

    Stophs flamered turbo build

A good shout with both the diff and the PMS. I love both on mine. Which diff you going for?

    15. They won't go over 15" Ultras IIRC.

Brilliant car, can't wait to see this in the flesh. Vids are good bud. I'll get onto that hose at some point. Crazy busy :(

    Stophs flamered turbo build

Good progress on this, looking forward to seeing it bud  Sorry to hear of the gearbox. You going to VAG it up box wise?

    Oil cooler

This is where mine lives, for obvious reasons given mounting it lower wasn't an option.

    Nurburgring Clio Crash

Clio 100 per cent at fault IMO. Moved left without looking. German law is clear, keep to the right. I've seen a few crashes like this at the ring recently.

Please lend me your ears. (le gearbox)

As others have said, mine sounded very similar with diff bearings gone. I took the opportunity to treat it to a Gripper LSD ;)

Iceberg silver w/dark candy red wheels

@Fletcher I wouldn't know, I only appeared in 2011 ;) I just googled "silver clio red wheels" and the fletchbus materialised :)

How to have super low bucket seats?

The OMP mounts won't make it higher than standard. They will be lower and the overall seating 'shape' of a bucket makes it lower. As said, I wouldn't go stupidly low as it becomes daft. Here are mine, on OMP frames with sliders. I let other people take it on track, so I need the sliders to...

    Any ITB owners from CLIOTURBO?

I don't agree with this, as you'd expect. So far I haven't had a single niggly problem or rebuilt anything. I can leave it for 3 weeks, jump in and it fires first time. I can drive it to work 10 miles away and back for a week and it is fine, or I can drive it up to Manchester and back and it is...

    Any ITB owners from CLIOTURBO?

The turbo packages Andy offers are quite frankly brilliant value for money. If you want more power but like N/A delivery then you could look at a supercharger. Just need to budget for replacing the Rotrex at some point. Boost over ITB's for me sadly. I love ITB's, the noise and the "rawness"...

    a1axx's Flame red Clio 172 ph2 daily/track hack

Yeah it is reasonably straight forward. I kept my aircon right up until recently, when I had to lose it for the supercharger. Otherwise it would still be there, track car or not.

    a1axx's Flame red Clio 172 ph2 daily/track hack

You can do an EPAS conversion on them, for about £250 and the time to fit it. Means you can turn it to non-PAS for track work, and then dial the PAS back on for road work. I'm doing mine at some point in the near future.

    a1axx's Flame red Clio 172 ph2 daily/track hack

Welcome along. You chose the best colour as well :) They go very well as both daily and track. Mine started life as a daily 4 years ago, and it was faultless. Now, well it is a little different now. The 205 looks great, and 8:25 is a great time too. Any questions about the forum give me or...

Front and rear lowering spring set up

If it is for track use, and budget isn't an issue, I'd look at a decent set of coilovers. Bilstein, BC or top end is AST. If it is springs you're after, then most use Eibach Sportlines or Cooksports. The latter being preferred I believe. Not sure on how much they will lower them by, but it...

    best brake pads for brembos?

Then ds1.11's are overkill. A decent set of Mintex or Ferodo, like these, but George will be along in a mo with the best recommendation. http://www.cliosport.net/threads/mintex-m1144-clio-197-front-brake-pads.614032/

    best brake pads for brembos?

What do you use the car for? Track days or just road? @George@RTR_Parts is the man to talk to. I have ds1.11's and they are brilliant in terms of bite / stopping power. They squeel like a stuck pig though, so aren't great for a daily.

    Dr Jekyll's Ph1 172 Progress Thread

Sorry to see this bud, but at least you have a replacement engine lined up and a plan for sorting. Scott is right, whilst putting the new engine in I'd throw some ARP's in. Not too pricey and worth it. I put a set in when I charged it but should have done before really. Oh, and all the best...

    Origine RS Goodwood

I'll be along I think. Taking your word it is a good show  Mine is far from mint as you know. So don't mind if it is in or out of the paddock tbh. I'm highly likely to do track time. Can't pass up the opportunity to drive Goodwood! Will be good to see some of the older Renaults. I have...

Page 21 is when the charger appears  http://www.cliosport.net/threads/cubs-flamer-supercharged-cage-etc.612638/page-21 It is well worth it, if you are intending on keeping the car. It's a fair amount to spend if you then sell the car. I'd also advise doing most other mods first. These...

Clio Modifying - if you could start over where would you go....

Both Quaiffe (ATB) and Gripper (Plate) are about £1300. Not including getting the box out and fitting the diff. I put a gripper in mine, which is better, but you have the downside of getting the box out and replating the diff periodically. Quaife is fit and forget.
