No problem. Off the top of my head no, as I have a snap on set. We have a local place that has them in stock as well, but obviously that's no good to you!
You could try some fresh HSS bits and start small, then work your way up the sizes. You might get lucky.
You need a good quality set of cobalt drill bits mate. As you've found, HSS just gets laughed out of town. Start with a small size and use some form of lubricant to keep the tip of the bit cool.
A few small bits to update the thread with!
I've been addressing a couple of small issues the past week or 2 since getting the car back from efi.
The first on the agenda was the oil pressure. I was seeing over 100psi when the engine was higher up the rpm range. The solution? Drop the sump off...
Yeah I do a lot of rebuilds on the jc5's mate. I'll drop you a pm mate with the details on. I can send you some details of what ratios can be found in which box as well, so this will help you determine which gearbox code you want to be looking out for.
The issue is that the f4r is catastrophically w**k for oil pressure mate. The majority of them run very low pressure, even when they're at full chat! I'm at the other extreme with mine. Lol - I've got too much pressure!!
I would imagine that you'll be able to just unbolt it and swap it over mate tbh. Even if it does move, it would only be a small amount and easy to move by hand.
