Ok so fittings arrived today so I made a start on installation and modification.
@M.C.. this is where you may be interested in what I've done. I spoke with Faye at speedflow for a solution to the 1/8bsp oil pressure sensor thread. I explained what I'd got and what my thoughts were, and she...
I think that I managed to squeeze mine past the cat when I fitted mine tbh mate, but yeah cat off or as low as possible is the only way. If it's sleeved and welded we could be in the s**t though!!
Yeah mega fuse is the way to go mate. Don't go too big on the fuse size though. 175amp should be enough. I think that's what's on mine tbh.
Also, get the longacre through panel connection. Very good and not expensive. Mine runs through at the passenger side of the bulkhead.
No worries! Happy...
Just make sure your wiring is nicely secured and if in doubt, cover it in something to help protect it in the worst areas.
It's only there for a front end impact mate in my opinion. Sparks and fuel don't really tend to be a match made in heaven! Lol!!

Yeah and charge you for the liberty of the fix. Lol! f**k that. Also, @MarkX still had the rattle I believe after he'd fitted it! Lol
Tbh I'm convinced it's the collar for the lift up reverse, so it would be a simple case of machining some grooves to accept o rings, then sliding the collar back...
I wouldn't class myself as a guru mate! Lol! I do however, get enjoyment from stripping and rebuilding gearboxes. It's a curse mate!
Thanks. I don't see the point in rushing the job along, then have to spend time afterwards making good the things I didn't do first time around. I also look...
Ok mate. Sounds like diff bearings or the diff itself. I'm seeing quite a lot come through now with internal diff damage now. This could be where yours has failed and the debris has taken out the bearings.
