Well I'm thinking that if they're working exceptionally well, the rear is end is lifting up. So now your thinking, 'right so what's your point?', well what's this rod you've got connected to the lever on the compensator valve? The arm on the bottom of the compensator shouldn't be connected to...
Bolt drillings are also different to allow for the slightly wider track on a cup, but still allow for the same camber angle as a ff 172.
The best bit is that no one, not even Renault realise this. Flol!!!!!!
Well believe it or not, I'm not actually happy with the loom! Lol! I was moaning to BIGASH about it last Sunday night as we had our usual weekly catchup.
I wished I'd gone all out and used the raychem boots and boot glue rather than the adhesive lined stuff, but not only are they horrendously...
Ah right ok. Well it would be a shame to see the cup get broken mate, but needs must I suppose! Shame you can't just shelve it and put it on the back burner.
Hi Gerben. The grey ones are used for the reverse shaft, 1st and 2nd selector and 3rd and 4th selector. The black one is used in the 5th gear shaft. God knows why because they're all the f**king same! Lol!
Little tip - get some 12mm bolts to hold the spring and ball bearings in place for 1/2 &...
Yeah it is on the big side. Lol! The engine there in that state weighs in at around a ton Martin. That's without oil and coolant!
It's been in for a full strip down and overhaul as the ceramic plungers in the high pressure fuel pump disintegrated and decided to spread the love throughout the...
Yeah apologies, I should've known that as I've helped another member with wiring a tps sensor in on a ph2 only the other day!
Just replicate the wiring for the ph1 on the ph2 loom mate, but make sure you remove the remaining pins mate. It's then just a case of connecting 48, 74 and 75 into the...
@Doogimus the 6 wires that go into the ecu plug on your current loom need to be removed from your ecu plug. 3 of them need to then be transferred to the pins you stated above. It doesn't matter which 3, just remember the colours.
Cut the 6 pin plug off and fold back the 3 wires your not going...
RWD conversion for through the winter! Just a case of slotting this 13ltr, 440hp motor in. Might need to up the front Spring rates to accommodate the slight increase in weight over the front end though. Lol!
The startup map will be a 197 map mate that's written for the gen90. That'll give some base settings just to get it to run, then it's a case of doing a bit of road mapping to make sure it's not running rich/lean. I'll do the driving and Chip will be doing the road mapping.
That will then allow...
I do TF mate. I like being mixed in with the bikes and people just having a steady drive round! Lol! Makes it more of a challenge to get a decent lap time in, as you have to constantly be on your toes and work out where your going to catch, then overtake them with minimal effect on the lap...
Your going to need all the tools mate to do the job properly. Once the timing is correct, you have to lock the cam pulleys and tighten everything up to the correct torque. Once you've done that, you need to turn the engine over again and recheck/adjust if it's still out.
