surely you can just setup itunes again and then import the songs off your hdd? Then resync? Thats what i did.
if you are moving to a vista machine you can use the windows easy tranfer tool, supposed to be pretty good...
the only games i have on my touch are minesweeper and pong.
not sure on other games though.
mines works ok but pong is a little difficult with the touchscreen but it can be played over wifi which is cool.

i disagree, the days of getting great bargains in january are gone these days, just the odd bits and bobs, retailers are selling at such low margins now that the prices are nearly always rock bottom anyway as they are making money in other areas.

i use vista ultimate at work, i don't use any of the features over premium, i don't even use that aero stuff, like how often do you actually look at your desktop and how difficult it is to click on the tap you want at the bottom rather than having a 3d model of your windows scroll infront of...
indeed, whats quoted above from the scan website is the xp EULA with the title changed to vista.
If i was looking for oem license details, i wouldn't be using the scan website, i'd probably try the manufacturers one;)

personally i wouldn't buy an os, would stick with what the machine comes with.
64 bit versions allow you to use over 4gb ram, 32 bit version will only see around 3-3.5gb if 4 is installed.

funny you should say that, been trying a bit of rapidshare recently and staying off the torrents and its been up for a week now whereas it didn't use to last more than a day without rebooting or freezing so you might have something there.
