Depends if you are into high def movies, if you are then the ps3 makes sense, if not then go for the games machine, will need to add a wireless adapter though and a play and charge kit.

as griff says, the 4gb limit includes the pagefile so if you can get rid of the pagefile it should show the full 4gb, you could do this in XP, not sure about vista though.
yes, X64 is still X86 technology but with 64 bit extensions so some people shorten it from X86-64 to just X64, its still 32bit architecture. 64 bit architecture is IA64 which is the Itanium range of processors that are 64bit only.

HD-DVD are NOT region coded.
Blu-ray discs ARE 'mostly' region coded. They are in regions A,B or C. We are in region B and the US are region A. Some discs (such as spiderman) are A,B+C.

my dads got the humax and the EPG thing is very annoying, and it hasn't got series link.
I got the free BT Vision V-Box and its great, has no EPG problems, even has 2 weeks worth and does series link.
Would highly recommend it for free if you have BT Broadband.
