Re: Why the f*ck is Sky no longer showing C4 and 5 on it's Freeview service!?!
this is what sky did to me too, i cancelled my subscription and they told me i didn't have to get a freesat caqrd as they would convert mine into one until i decided i wanted to come back and that how its been since...
LOL, ok, call me stupid, (no doubt someone will!) but why was the R26 just totally ignored, so even though it was the fastest it didn't even make 3rd?
I'm a little confused at that one, any reason why? Infact, i'm worried that the R26 can be given the accolaide of best hot hatch by other...
Re: Camera Lense group buy
does richard branson know how to fly planes? (i don't know but you get my point!), or the bloke that started easyjet, did bill gates programme windows.........
i fon't think its relevant really, hes not a technical sales person, just the owner of a sucessful business.
well, its turned up and i must say i am highly impressed, the screen is good (not quite as good as a sony but then mine was £1800), it has everything needed on it from 4 USB's, firewire, card slots here there and everywhere etc.
So a big thumbs up, only have 1 day to buy this if you were...
this has been known about for ever though and the kind of people that have adopted this technology early should be the kind of people to do research and know about this kind of thing.
Its one reason why I definitely bought a PS3 in the knowledge that all these worries over bluray profiles would...
HD-DVD do that in their combo discs in the US and people really don't like them, the flipper disc.
I doubt they would include 2 separate discs in the package when they can use the flipper disc but then you don't get any disc art as its data on both sides, it also makes the cost of the film more...
i would disagree with revels on disk size, mine is constantly full and i have to go through trying to delete things. the 20gb one only has 12gb of free space available due to the rest being used by the backwards compatibility stuff.
I would go for the 120gb disk one without a doubt if buying...
adam, i'd do a search if i were you as there are already multiple threads asking this exact question and those will have the answers you are looking for.
or just buy the one you can afford, the more expensive the are the better they are essentially.
I'd like to purchase the:
50mm f1.8
24-105 f4.0 L IS
and the EF-S 18-55 3.5-5.6 IS to replace my kit kens (that got damaged in vegas) to keep a wide lens as its nice and cheap.
those are my purchases for this year i think hopefully.
i wouldn't really, you are right, i'll just stick with the one for my dad, hes got one of my old sony's at the mo from about 7 years ago, its a 900mhz with 256mb ram and takes about 10 minutes to boot so he needs an upgrade.
He used to spend all night in the computer room and my mum used to...
LOL, this is the frist dell product i have ever purchased, i nearly bought that external hdd when they made that error on the price so this is a big step for me, i just think it is a steal for the spec, how bad could it be............;)
Now I'm not known for my love of the Dell brand, i've never held back but for the spec of this and the price even I have bought one for my dad as he needs a new laptop, absolute bargain, can even add a 256 mb 8600 for another £117 I think...
