i'm surprised people are saying planet earth looks amazing as i was very disappointed with my bluray copy, its got a lot of grain and the pic isn't that great considering it was all shot in HD, probably the biggest let down of my high def movies and i have about 40 between the 2 formats.

i have the e2c for my touch and they are quite good but i am no audiophobe, they get rid of outside noise well though, i can't hear traffic with them on, the real test is my flight tomorrow as i have some noise cancelling ones and they aren't that good so i hoping these will be good.

something like dvd decrypter will allow you to rip your dvd into a single file so you can then convert it to mp4 for playback on the ipod, best ripping/shrinking it to 700mb though as that will be plenty big enough for the ipod

my mp4's are the same size as the avi's i pump in, try using a better setting on the conversion. TBH, i have watched 350mb files on my tv through the xbox so its only the same as that as my mp4 conversions are the same size as my avi's so i would think it would be the same quality really.

i guess it will depend on the quality of the rips you put on there to play on there, if you heavily compress them and to the right resolution for the ipod then probably not but if you rip them to be playable on a tv aswell then i can't see why not. Will also depend on the size of the tv though too.

the n73 is always connected to data thats why, they all do it (well all orange definitely do), i've spoken to orange about it and its a feature of the n73 they tell me, whenever i end a call it comes up that i am connected to data again. nothing to worry about.
