    To be honest if its a 2 owner car and the paint is of a hight standard then I see no issues! I'd buy it and stick some turinis on it and give it a tidy up. is it cheap?

    I actually adore turbines, and until as recent as last year always had a set in the shed just incase I bought another mk1! But as the car stands now it just looks wrong, as suggested spacers, fatter tyres, coilovers and a nicer colour and it'll work...

    Looked after they're not that bad. I bought both halfs of a new one off ebay dirt cheap - genuine renault... I sprayed mine up before putting it on so should hopefully stop inward rot - can't do much about the outward mind!
