its for a spare for the 172 so design and fugly ness isn't an issue!
Was left high and dry once when I took the spare out so I'd rather keep it in this car!
Good solution - so the cap will actually slot into place in the correct way but not clip in for security? I'm sure I can sort something out in a similar vein to you then :)
I just found this picture - noticed it when I was posting this!
Apologies to the person whose picture it is!
Thats an aftermarket speedline with renault cap?
I've searched the forum to death and now know that the standard renault centre caps don't fit an aftermarket turini - but what I'd like to know is why?
Whats different between them? the aftermaket turini looks to me like the cap isn't as recessed as the renault wheel but is that just the...
I've been looking at pictures of 172's on standard alloys and I've got to admit it does look bloody good!
But I always thought there were repercussions with running spacers? firstly bearings spring to mind but what other issues can come of it? for me the thought of running something inbetween...
exact same car exact same problem fella - the more I look at it though the more I want to keep it as it is!
Seen some anthracite 172 alloys but could do with some more shots to make my mind up!
having recently bought one I drove lots of sports and realised getting the best example was more important - in the end I got an 02 172 with 33k on the clock - every other one I looked at was a shed in comparision.
depends what you want too I guess - if driver aids and cruise control are...
I like the rear but the rest scares me!
I'd have used the whole of the 172 front end myself - that front bumper is the most out of place thing I've seen on a clio!
Bah thats why god gave us fuses for said aids - my abs will get popped out in bad snow and will stay in rest of time - these brakes are fanastic and if a little bit of abs is helping me out then its on my christmas card list for 2009!
done some hardcore seraching :o and sorted the front/back bulbs and side repeaters...
Just need some recommendations for side lights and map lights/boot light please.
:)
Lady owned 172 all its life so its never been touched - sooooo....
Sidelights? leds here there anywhere? silvervisons? just want to get rid of the orange look all round and also possible whiten (that a word?!) up the internals.
ta!
Thats a very good example!
I'd personally chuck out all the new stuff and put the standard interior back in and apply the correct decals but then I do love a mint standard 5!
Turb... No hold on.... Supercharger!
I think its pretty common to lots of cars I'd imagine, it takes a pretty aggressive beast to keep you pinned in for every gear..
Like you say though its either lose weight or more power or fluff the change :)
