Was an awesome drive yesterday. As said turnout was a bit meh, maybe down to the weather for some people, although it brightened up for most of it and we even had a decent bit of sun for some of it! The drive and roads were great though.
Hopefully get another one organised in a few months time!
If anyone fancies meeting up before hand at Stirling services me and @Fraser.J will be dropping in there at 9am then heading off to Balloch across the A811
There should be a bit in the back of the headlight you can flick up or down to change the beam pattern. Difficult to describe it really but if you can look in the back you should see a little metal tab on the projector part of the light. Flick that up or down to change it
Ahh that'd be the ph1 @benji93 sent me a photo of the other week when yous were round at his lol. I'm not sure yet mate. Want to be in Balloch for before 10am so probably somewhere between half 8 and 9 I reckon!
Aye it should be a decent run out, hopefully the weather isn't too bad. If you fancy it then a couple of us might be meeting up at Stirling services before to head over Balloch way on the backroads
😂 aye I saw a fair bit of police out and about tonight. Your car standard? Still was going fairly well if it is, considering mines is stripped out lol.
You'll have missed the early bird pricing but I don't see there being anything wrong with just buying a full price ticket on the day. John knows more though so can hopefully confirm this
No worries, I'll PM you my number mate
Will believe that when I see it. You've not been on time for a meet yet 😂😂
Ah no problem, I've got a nearly new set of OE spec Pagids lying about after I fitted my RC5+. More than welcome to them if you end up with no pads...
Can I get an aye or a no from everyone who's meant to be coming along to this? Need a list of names of who's actually going so we know who to wait on on Sunday morning.
Definitely confirmed so far I've got @arg_carra @Dannyeff @Fraser.J. @rctempire
@w33 brl @scotiamr2t @scotty10 @Paprika123...
Ah, well, it's pretty much seeing track use only at the moment...lol! I do try and give it a bit of time between changes though and not just slam it in, but in that case if it lasts me the rest of the track days I do this year I'll be happy. Maybe get my old one refurbed and swap it over winter.
Out of interest, how long is a box in this kind of condition likely to last before it's basically fucked? (fully expecting the 'how long is a piece of string' reply lol).
We'll more than likely stop off at the viewpoint on the rest and be thankful if you fancied doing the extra few miles up to there. Understandable if not though, I never quite realised how far away from everywhere Campbeltown was haha
There's a decent few meets coming up and in the pipeline mate, plenty to get involved with  best thing is to subscribe to the Scottish region section and you'll get a notification when new meets and stuff are posted up!
Right, as per Fraser's post above, I had a r****d moment yesterday when deciding the meeting point.
Doesn't make much sense to all meet up and take a boring drive along a motorway and stuff out towards Dumbarton/Balloch way, so instead we'll meet up in Balloch for 10am and everyone can make...
Yup! All included with the tickets. I don't have one either lol, I planned on sleeping in the car, until I fitted fixed buckets and a rear roll cage and realised that's not gonna happen anymore!
As Danny said, I have a 100 for sale
To answer a few q's in your OP though, discs on the rear are only on the 100 model, the 80 and 65 both have drums. Think you're right on tyre size too. I had 16" 172 alloys on mine anyway so can't remember standard wheel/tyre size lol. Main thing to...
