How 'free' was the gold pivot in the linkage before eveyone tightend them up ? Iv just had to drive an 11 socket in the clamp end just to get it in !

Yea we normally meet Fletch and Pete at winnal tesco then gead up to the services to meet everyone else. Just doing the linkage at the mo.

Yea should be ok day to day, only ever drive it at the weekends and maybe once or twice during the week ! Just have to finish off the shifter and fill it with coolant and put the bumper back on and she's set :)

Started fitting the PMS shifter tonight. Got it all done other than the linkage and setting it up :)

Yea pulled on that every which way. Even tried it in gear. Il get nibbling at it then.

Just started to fit this, little problem, the pivot bush has a little clip on it to keep both sides together. The one currently on the car has snapped and when trying to pull it down it obviously splits and can cant be pulled down. Tried using a terminal screw driver to pull together but still...

Engine work is all done :) Might start the shifter today, might not ! Fitting the PMS AC delete kit was fairly straight forward, would of been easier in a garage with all the tools, thankfully my mates garage is 2 seconds away so popped up there a couple of times for bits and pieces...

Got bored with a can of Stella on the go, so decided to do the inlets. Didn't enjoy prizing the injectors out and was even worse putting them back !
