Oh.
Make sure the chain and tensioners have been done! Another CS member didn't believe me when I said they are inherently unreliable.... then his tensioner broke.
I am interested, but I'm massively date dependent. So I'll hang around and see what happens rather than fill a space. Can't beat a good karting tear up!
Have you used a test meter to test the continuity of the wires? They're about £5 delivered off eBay and are invaluable when chasing niggly (typical Renault) faults.
If your car has a MAF sensor in the induction pipe it's not advisable to fit Air filters that require oil. The oil sticks to the sensor wire and causes havoc.
(My Subaru has one, as did my fabia)
I've just taken an ep3 in part exchange and i lasted about 30 minutes before I put it back on the drive and took something else.
Don't see what all the fuss is about at all.
That's at the upper end of the scale then.
We charge £90 a wheel to have the tyres removed, acid dipped, shot blasted, powder coated, faces diamond cut and the whole wheel lacquered.
When people (even us!) just paint the faces, I'm never 100% happy with it.
Meh. Cup's aren't all that desirable imo.
And they need to be standard if they are, but that one has washer jets fitted for some stupid reason. Most people want rid of the leaky things! Lol
Surely having a lively back end is what makes these cars fun??
if you're racing or chasing lap times then I can see why you'd not want it, but I personally love how lively the back ends are on these. It's what makes them.
This M4 is in being cleaned ready for collection later. Got some funky seats and steering wheel. Looks expensive!
(I can't photo the whole car as it belongs to a customer...)
A Ph1 172 should come with a 15 inch steel wheel.
You place it face down in the wheel well and then the kit shown in the eBay link above screws through the wheel and into the boot floor, securing the lot.
I would personally get your current one rebuilt.
Clio's are known for s**t weak gearboxes so you could buy one that lasts a year or you could buy one that lasts a weekend.
